Bonus Chapter: First Date

Phil groaned as his brother ruffled his hair once again.

"I just redid that!" Phil whined.

Martyn only laughed and walked away. Phil went back to trying to fix his hair, again. Phil was practically shaking with excitement, or nervousness, he wasn't sure at this point. This would be his first official date with Dan, or with anyone at all actually.

"Phil! Are you ready yet, he'll be here soon!" Phil's mum yelled from down stairs.

Phil rolled his eyes. His mum was all for this relationship, she was just happy that Phil was going on a date, honestly.

"Almost!" Phil yelled back.

After a few minutes Phil got his hair how he wanted it. Phil rushed down stairs.

"Mum, distract me so I won't have a panic attack." Phil spoke.

"You've got nothing to worry about, sweetie. It'll go great." Phil's mum reassured.

"And if it doesn't?" Phil questioned.

"Then we'll have to sacrifice Dan."

Just then there was a knock on the door.

"Speaking of the devil."

Phil looked towards his mum.

"Well go answer it!" Phil mum shooed him off.

Phil opened the door the reveal Dan. Phil blushed intensely and looked down.

"Hi." Phil spoke shyly.

"Don't look down, I like looking at your eyes." Dan said, lifting Phil's head up.

"Awe, that's adorable! Compliment him back Philly!"

"Mum!" Phil whined as Dan snickered behind him.

"Oh, I'm sorry dear! Didn't mean to embarrass you!"

Dan full out laughed this time and Phil groaned in embarrassment.

"We're leaving now, bye mum!"

"Bye, sweetie! Stay safe!"

Phil quickly shut the door and faced Dan, who was smirking at him.

"Shut up." Phil groaned.

"I didn't say anything." Dan responded.

"But you were thinking something."

"My bad."

They sat there in silence for a moment, both smiling at one another.

"Well come on then, we've got a date to attend." Dan said walking towards his car.

Phil followed and got into the car as well. Dan started the car and they rode in an awkward silence.

"You can pick a CD if you want, there's a ton down there." Dan said, motioning towards the CDs scattered everywhere.

Phil looked through them till he saw one that caught his eye. He smiled brightly as he held up The 2nd Law an album by his favorite band, Muse.

"I'm guessing you like Muse then." Dan chuckled.

Phil nodded." They're my favorite."

Phil put in the CD and grinned as the first song started playing. They both sang along to Supremacy.
