Chapter 7

I wake up the next morning and try and wake up nick so I could get up for summer

"Nick wake up babe I have to get summer

He doesn't reply to me

"Kevin get in here

Kevin - what

"can you roll nick off me he won't wake up

Kevin rolls him off me then try's to wake him up

Kevin - lex call an ambulance this isn't good

I call 911 then try to wake nick again the ambulance comes and I go with nick while summer stays with Kevin dani and Alena

"Is he going to be okay

Doc - he should be fine he hasn't had any insulin in ages so he blacked out he wasn't watching his blood sugar

"He's just been so busy with the baby I guess he just forgot

Doc - there's one more thing

"What is it

Doc - I'm going to need a blood test from you

"Whys that

Doc - well since nick ended up in here we looked at your family history and there's a chance you might have it to

"Oh sure then

He takes a blood sample then I sit next to nicks bed waiting for him to wake up I fall asleep watching him

Nicks POV

I woke up and the first thing I saw was a clock on a gross white coloured wall I was in a hospital I look down to the needles in my hand then see someone's next to me it was lex she was asleep I kiss her forehead

Lex POV

I felt someone kiss my head I woke up it was nick

"Your awake babe I was so worried

Nick - yeah what happened

"Your blood sugar went wrong again

Nick - oh great so I can go now

"Yeah "

The nurses come in and take the needles out and then we leave on the way out the doctor pulled me aside

Doc - they came back positive but your in early stages so take these pills everyday

"Thank you can you please not tell nick about this

Doc - sure

We leave an go home I take nick to the room and put him in bed to sleep then went to find Kevin & dani

They were in the lounge

Dani - hey is nick okay

"Yeah it was his blood pressure again

Kevin - it always is

"How was summer

Dani - she's like the best baby ever she cried once and it was for food but then again she was getting cuddled the whole rest of the time by her uncle

"Naw how cute I'm so glad we all live together

Dani - so am I

"Well I better let you guys have some peace and take her

Kevin - no it's fine go have a sleep she fast asleep any way wouldn't want to risk moving her and waking her
