In star labs where we left off:
"Dante?!" Cisco said in complete an utter shock. What is he doing here!

"You just gonna stand there like an idiot or are you gonna greet me properly" Dante said walking towards Cisco, arms open.

'Who the fuck is this scrub' Hartley thought as he gave the man a death glare.

"Um Dante, hey it's good to see you"Cisco said with a clear discomfort "what are you doing here"

" I just wanted to see you paco, catch up and maybe get some lunch"Dante said.

This was Hartley's last straw. He was not gonna watch this guy just come in here and flirt with his man. Also whoever this guy thought he was has no right to make such a scene in their place of work. Though everyone in the office tried to be respectful Hartley knew they are all listening in hoping for  some drama. Hartley decided it would be best to interrupt his boyfriends little interaction.

Hartley approach the two " hey Cisco, I was wondering if we're still on for lunch" Hartley was about to put his hand around Cisco's waist when Cisco stepped away and patted Hartley on the back.
"Sup buddy, sorry I gotta cancel"

'Did he just call me BUDDY' Hartley thought. "um Cisco what's -"

"Oh yeah um Hartley this is my brother Dante, Dante this is my bro Hartley" cisco said giving a weak laugh.

"Nice to meet one of Paco's work friends." Dante said with a smile.

'Oh his brother, that is better and explains a lot' Hartley thought

Cisco cleared his throat and spoke up again"Dante my lunch break is not for a bit, I'm kind busy her-"

"I'll wait, when's your break" Dante said clearly not leaving

" oh it's at 3:30" said Ronnie from the sideline, who was clearly immersed by the small drama and trying to further the plot.

" an hour wait is not to long, I'll be at at the dinner on 5th street" and without waiting for a responds from Cisco Dante left.
As soon as Dante left the building Cisco turned to Ronnie. "Seriously dude, couldn't just let me lie"

"I don't think the dude and lying thing is just my problem" Ronnie said gesturing to Hartley.
Hartley approached Cisco with and unnerving smile.

"Hey buddy, I think we need to talk" Hartley stated, looking around at the audience of nosy co-workers "alone, meet me in the storage room now."

"Don't make out this time" Ronnie said earning a slap on the arm from Caitlin

"Don't worry we won't" Hartley replied.

(Line break)

The two entered the storage room. They stood in an uncomfortable silence for about two minutes. If Hartley took anything from his father it was how to win an argument and his pettiness. In an argument you never want to talk first and you always want to stay calm and confident. Cisco finally spoke up.
" okay I can explain." silence "let me explain" more silence. Cisco stood there at a loss for words.

" why did you say you could explain if you couldn't!" Hartley yelled
" I DON'T KNOW I PANICKED, I THOUGHT YOU WOULD INTERRUPT ME BEFORE I HAD TO EXPLAIN !"Cisco said frantically.

Hartley sighed, " answer me this, are you ashamed of me"

"Yes! wait no, I mean I uh" cisco rambled, Hartley sighed and headed for the door when Cisco stopped him.
" no please wait! It's just Ugh I'm screwing everything up, its just my family doesn't know about me liking girls and guys, specifically one guy" he smiled at Hartley "I'm sorry for bro-zoning you back there, ugh now you probably hate me and think I'm weak for not telling my family! I get it if you don't want to date the 'straight boy' anymore, I'm just so sorry and stupi-"

"Francisco Ramon you are the most idiotic genius to ever live." said Hartley "You thought I would get mad because you didn't come out to your family? Cisco I didn't come out to my family until a few years ago, and when I did my dad beat and disowned me. If anyone is gonna understand hesitation on coming out it's going to be me"

Cisco hugged Hartley tears almost surfacing "Thank you for understanding. Are we good now"

" well I suppose, just don't ever call me bro again." Hartley said as they stepped out of the storage space.

Hartley was about to head back to his lab station when Cisco stopped him,"come to lunch with me"

"Cisco I don't feel like having to pretend to be your Buddy for a who lunch" Hartley said sincerely.

" I wanna come out to my brother and I need you there" Cisco said trying to sound confident.

Hartley looked at him seriously, " Cisco I hope this has nothing to do with our conversation because honestly I'm fine"

Cisco looked down" It's not that, it's just, I'm tired of hiding this part of my life from them, I mean there still gonna like Dante better. I'm not saying I'm ready to come out to my parents or my abuelita yet, but I think I can handle Dante."

"Aren't you worried he'll tell your family" Hartley asked genuinely.

" I doubt it, at best he won't because he secretly cares about me and at worst he'll wait to see me go through the pain of doing it myself" Cisco said honestly

" oh uh wow that has the possibility to be really great or really horrible, but no matter what you decide or what happens I'll be with you the whole way" Hartley smiled looking into Ciscos eyes.
Cisco is at a loss for words. Everything is going by so fast but in the best way possible. Cisco couldn't contain his happiness, he kissed Hartley. It seemed as with each passing second his worries and insecurities faded. It was just him and Hartley.

" hey I said no making out this time" stated Ronnie from across the room.

" I'm guessing everything is good" Caitlin said appearing behind Ronnie.

Cisco looked towards Hartley who had a mischievous and suspicion smile on his face.
" almost" Hartley said as he walked away from the bunch.

" that was weird" Cisco said confused as he looked towards his friends. "What's up? Should I be worried"

They looked at each other and laughed "You are going to have to reorganize everything on your desk" the two walk away leaving Cisco confused.

" what do they... wait!? Hartley I swear" Cisco took of running to his desk as he got closer he heard a laugh from his boyfriend. At his desk he sees Hartley who seemed to be waiting for him.

Hartley looked in to Ciscos eyes as he slide the papers off his desk.

Cisco held in a laugh attempting a mock anger" you're such a dick"

Hartley just smiled,"I know see you at lunch".
Cisco went to pickup his things, his fellow co-workers laughed not in mockery though. Ronnie spoke up" welcome to the team"

" um what?" Said a confused Cisco.

" you're not a real member of this team until Hartley fucks with your desk, though usually it's out of anger or annoyance" Ronnie explained.

Cisco just laughed. This job has changed him for the better so much. Now he just hopes his brother will be as accepting as his co-workers.
