Dates, dinner, and disaster

Cisco laid on his couch not so patiently waiting for Caitlin. He looked on his phone it read 5:38. He was nervous he had his first official date with Hartley tonight at 8:00 and he need Caitlin to help him get ready. He hasn't dated anyone since his last relationship a year ago. It was a rough relationship that Cisco was still healing from in many ways.
"You won't screw this up" he said to himself.
He heard a knock on the door and opened it happy to see Caitlin standing their with a smile on his face. Cisco pulled Caitlin in so they can start getting him ready.
"Someone eager" Caitlin said with a giggle. Cisco tried but couldn't contain his grin. The two have grown so close in the few weeks they have been working together. It was a pleasant surprise, he never was the best at making friends or being close to anyone, even his family, especially his family. It was always about Dante. It was always about how Dante did it better, or why couldn't he be as talented or amazing as Dante.
"Uhh Cisco you ok you kinda spaced out on me" Caitlin said with a hint of concern.
Cisco snapped out of his day dream.

"Uh... Yeah sorry just think. Anyway we need to get started Hartley will be here at 8:00 and I have no idea what to wear"

" Cisco you have over two hours before Hartley gets here. That is plenty of time for me to tell you not to wear a nerd graphic tee on your date." Caitlin said with a smirk.

" hey what's wrong with a graphic tee. Don't hate" Cisco said pretending to be offended.  "I guess you're right, that is the firsts thing Hartley tease me about when we first met"

"Aww yo guys have such cute memories together" Caitlin teased.

"Shut up and help me" Cisco said as he playfully hit her arm and lead her to his closest.
"Don't you think you spent enough time there"

/////////////////////////////////////Hartley steps out of the shower and enters his room. It's only 6:00 so he has a couple of hours to get ready so he changes in to a plan tee shirt and shorts while he stares at his closet trying to decide what to wear for his date. He still is shocked that he his going out with Cisco. He thinks Cisco is amazing but their just so... Different. He can't help but worry. Just as he is staring at two black button ups very intensely he hears Harrison's, his dad's, voice from down stairs.

"Hartley you have a guest"

'Who could that be?'Hartley thought. Is it CISCO. It's only 6:00 and he was supposed to pick Cisco up, it can't be him. Just as he was about to go down stairs to see who it was, the taller man barged in to his room
"Sup Hartley"

" Raymond what are you doing here"  Hartley questioned.

" To help you with your date duh" said Ronnie as he began to rummage through Hartley' closet.

" why are you helping me" Hartley questioned. They worked together for years why is he interested in his life now.

Ronnie reply not turning away from Hartley's closet " Cisco's my boy now and I know without my help you will screw something up. Cisco seems to care about you for some reason so I'm just making sure things go well."

Hartley looked at him with a slightly irritation but also some compassion. "Ok first off if Cisco is anyone's 'boy' he would be mine. And secondly I have been on a date before Raymond I know what I'm doing"

Ronnie turned to him" already getting jealous just cause I called him my boy" Ronnie said with a smirk." Also when was the last time you actually been on a real date"
