So I know in my school and a bunch others, final exams are coming. They are the worst. Sometimes they'll be a project, presentation, or a huge test covering everything you did throughout the year. They can be extremely stressful.
Studying Stress
A lot of people get extremely stressed when studying. It's usually when the stress kicks in. Here are some ways that can help you manage it.
1. If you feel yourself getting overwhelmed, take a break from studying. Walk away and do something else.
2. If your having a breakdown because you just can't handle the stress, it's perfectly okay. You are human. Cry it out. When you're done, don't go right back into studying. Do something else and take a break.
3. If you get stressed easily, set a timer every 10-15 to take a break. Grab a snack or listen to a couple songs.
4. Don't study everything at once. Take it one subject at a time, one chapter at a time, and one lesson at a time. Try not to overwhelm yourself.
During Exam Stress
If you feel yourself getting stressed during the exam, don't panic. Take a few deep breaths and move on to another question. It might also help to search the test too. You never know, the answer to other questions could be hidden in there somewhere!!
Presentation Stress
When some people see or hear the word presentation, they freak out. They hate the idea of having to get up in front of people and present. Before you get up there, take a deep breath. You'll be fine. If you have those jerks in your class that like to laugh at people, ignore them. They'll probably fail anyways. You'll be the one getting a great grade.
If you hate the idea of presenting in front of people, before the presentation, talk to your teacher. Tell them that you don't like presenting in front of people and ask them if you can come at another time and just present it to them. Most teachers will let you do that. They know how stressful finals week is. They were once in your shoes too.
If you have exams coming up, I wish you the best of luck!! You'll pass them! You got this!!!
