Chapter 8

He un-locked the door and stormed out.  I was shocked! I though Asia was his life? I ran after him. “Michael what is wrong with you?!” I said catching him and turning him to me. He was crying….Tears was actually pouring down his face. He looked at me and sighed. “Why him?” He said looking down and speaking quietly. I sighed, and shook my head. “I couldn’t wait for you forever….” I said looking at him. “I though Asia was your life? Isn’t she pregnant?” I said recalling what he’d text me. He sighed and shook his head. “S-She’s not pregnant…..” He said looking at me.

“What?” I said looking at him. “I wanted you to be jealous….” He said looking behind me. I can’t believe he lied! I was mad! Then I realized I had done the same thing to him... “Wow…Michael… She’s still your life...” I Said rubbing my temples and looking at something far off. He sighed and looked at me. He took a seat on the couch near the Kitchen and looked at back down. “You Kay….You are my life…I need you” He said putting his face into his hands. Michael needed me? Didn’t I need him? The tables seem to be turning. “Michael…I needed you too….I was in love with you….Remember?” I said kneeling down and taking his hands.

He nodded and looked up at me. “I remember” He mumbled.  I stood up and started to pace around softly. He watched me from the corner of his eye. After a few seconds he finally spoke. “I’m sorry…I couldn’t be the one to make you happy Kay” He said frowning. I turned around quickly. “Michael... you did…you made me happy… You still do… We are still besties Michael” I said reassuring him. He stood up and walked to me. The whole time…he kept his eyes on mine. “Tell me you don’t want me…And I’ll leave Kay. I told you once before…I want you…We can’t be best friends anymore. “He said taking me into his arms and hugging me tight.

I sighed hugging back and looked at him. “Tell me…..” He said biting his lip and looking down. I didn’t want him….did I? I could tell him that I didn’t want him and live happy ever after with Markus... But the truth was, I was still in love with Michael. I wanted him and he wanted me....But I was with Markus. “I want you Michael but-“ I said and he quickly dismiss me. “Then be with me!!” He said whining and smiling lightly. I chuckled knowing that would make him happy. “Why now? Why didn’t you say anything when I wanted you in the first place?!” I Said smiling and forgetting about Markus. “I didn’t want to ruin us.. Our friendship was fine with me.” He said caressing my arms. I smiled and kissed him just as Markus came through the door.  

Markus stopped and looks at me. “Kay, What is this?!” He said looking at me with hurt in his eyes. I looked at Markus and then at Michael. “It’s nothing Markus, Michael was just leaving.” I said looking down at back up at Michael. Michael sighed, and bumped Markus on the way out. I sighed and half chuckled at his move. I looked at Markus and sighed. I walked to him and hugged him. He looked at me for a moment and then finally hugged back. “Baby, what was that Kiss about?” He said sounding hurt. I looked at him and bit my bottom lip. “Baby, it was nothing okay?” I said smiling at him. He looked into my eyes and then suddenly nods.  “Ok...” He said looking at me. “Baby…It’s nothing okay?” I said reassuring him. He looked at me and then leaned down to kiss me. “Round three?” I said smiling up at him. He chuckled and quickly hurried me to the bedroom.
