I didn’t hear Michael when he came in, but I knew he was there. You know that feeling you get when someone’s staring at you? Well this was the same feeling I was getting right now. After a little while of losing myself into a world filled with empty memories, I slowly opened my eyes. Michael was sitting in the far corner reading a magazine. I smiled remembering how he loved to read. I closed my eyes, as to keep the memories from fading. Then it hit……The feeling of being lied too. I shook as I remembered the events that had occurred earlier. I looked at Michael with frustration. He flipped a page or two and then sat it down in his lap. He slowly looked up until his eyes meet mine. Just at that moment, it seemed his whole world shook. The look on his face before was ‘worry’ but not it read ‘anger’. Why? The last person to be angry was me and most definitely not him! He stood up and slowly walked to me.

“Hi” He said dryly with his jaw clenched tight. I looked away and then back at him. “Uh, hi” I said directly not caring about how it sounded. “Feeling any better?” He said through his teeth. I rolled my eyes. “Yes, Michael where were you today?! Why are you even here now?! Just go!” I said shouting and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Michael gritted his teeth, and clenched his fist. “I was out…. ok?...K-Kayla I was trying to m-“ He said before I cut him off. “Michael Just go!!!” I said feeling my tears slowly build up in me. He sighed and slowly walked out.
