Chapter 11

It was 2:00am and Michael and I laid there in each other’s arms for what seemed like forever. I inhaled deeply as Michael kissed my cheeks and caressed my arms. I looked up at Michael and smiled. “Michael?” I said looking into his eyes. He looked down at me, and smiled. “Yes, Sweetheart?” He said smiling. “What’s next?” I said questioning his response. He looked away from me thinking and then back down into my eyes. “Let’s just take one day at a time” He said smiling lightly.

I nodded and looked away. We stayed like that for a minute and then he said. “I have to go…..and I’m sure Asia’s up looking for me…” He said sighing and getting up from the bed. I watched him in complete silence, and sighed. Was he really leaving? Couldn’t Asia wait a while?! “Bye” I said dryly but trying to sound happy. He looked at me as If he understood. “Don’t try to sound so happy about it” He said chuckling with a hint of being sarcastic. I smiled and rolled my eyes “Bye Michael gosh!” I said chuckling. “Bye Kayla!” He said smiling wide and kissing me quickly before leaving.

~Later that day~

I was walking around the house getting ready to hang out with my friend Aaliyah. We had been best of friends since birth! Well actually all of us; Me, Michael, and Liyah. We knew each other pretty well. Anyways, I was going to meet her at ‘Italy Island’ to have dinner there. I walked out, got into my car and drove straight there. As soon as I got there she was standing there; with her hair blowing in the wind and hug smile on her face. I got out, and went straight to hug her.

“Liyah!!” I said smiling and hugging her tight. She chuckled and smiled at me. “Hi Kay!” She said smiling and leading me into the restaurant. “So how are you Liyah?” I said sitting down at a table. She sighed and smiled. “I’m great, and you?” She said looking at the menu. I looked down at mines and looked back at her. “I’m great! Thank. And that’s really nice to hear” I said smiling. We ordered our food and began talking about old time, and catching up. Soon it was time for us to leave. We said our goodbyes, and then started off on the road. I pulled into the parking lot of ‘Wal-Mart’ I wasn’t feeling well, and I didn’t quite know what it was. I sighed, and went in to get some meds. I also got a pregnancy test just in case. I don’t think Michael and I used protection…. I mean…what if I was pregnant? What would Michael Say? Better yet, what would Markus say? I sighed hoping that I wasn’t pregnant and that it was just a stomach bug.

~Home/The test~
I sighed as I peed on the pregnancy stick. What if I was pregnant? I’ve always wanted children. Michael and I both.. But I never thought I would have my own!! I smiled a little, and looked down at the stick.. It had a (+) sound on it. I was pregnant!! Michael and I were having a baby!!! I smiled laughing to myself but then my face went cold. I was pregnant with Michael’s child. How was I going to tell Markus that I was in fact having a baby, but in all it was Michael’s? How was he going to tell Asia?! So many questions were running through my mind…. But there was still on question remaining…..

How was I going to tell Michael?

I sent him a text…I knew he would ask me, what was wrong….and Wal-Mart’s bathroom was defiantly not the place or time.

Me: Michael…..I have something to tell you…….I think you’ll want to take a seat for this one.
