Stings POV
My mind was still reeling from what Natsu had just told me. I look at his face, pale and glistening with tears. There was one thing I was sure of and it was that Natsu wasn't a killer. He obviously felt guilty for what'd happened. He seemed very peaceful sleeping in my arms. I had often peeked into his room as I walked by despite my desire to respect his privacy and on several occasions found him tossing and turning tormented by his dreams. Now I understood why he was so distant and unwilling to get close to people. He was afraid he would hurt them. I lean forward placing my forehead gently against his. I fall sleep with Natsu grasped in my arms as if at any moment he would shatter.
My eyes shoot open as a bolt of pain tears through me. I snarl and in a moment I had my tormentor pinned to the bed it takes a moment in my startled half asleep brain to realize that the person pinned beneath me is Natsu. His lips painted red with my blood. His chest slowly heaving. I place my hand on his face using my fingers to tilt his head to the side as I lean down my lips slowly making a path down his neck to his collar bone. Natsu shifts under me a low sound tearing from his chest. I can feel his body begin to heat up and hear his heart pounding. I pull him off the bed yanking his back to my chest. I'm struggling to keep control of myself. I let my teeth graze his skin and Natsu shivers a soft gasp tearing from his throat. I get to the back of his shoulder and I feel the mate bond begin to draw me in. My lips curled back slightly as I sink my teeth in deep blood trails down and a sound of pain mixing with a sound of pleasure rips from Natsu's chest. I pull my head back a mark is left buried within his skin. It's a dragon it's white with gold detailing and the ancient dragon word for my name is engraved along with it. I'm stunned when his elbow buries itself in my rib cage. My breath is ripped from my lungs and I'm slammed into the wall. Natsu's lips remain centimeters from mine. I try to yank out of his grasp not liking being dominated but Natsu doesn't letting me move an inch. I know Natsu is strong but this strength is levels superior to my own. The fact that I'd ever thought differently was foolish. I'd never felt so much power radiate from one body before and not just magical strength, but physical, mental, and emotional strength that he'd shown was incredible. He didn't even hesitate for a second his fangs burying themselves in the lower part of my neck. I never thought I could make a sound like the one I was making. The pain was excruciating and this wasn't just pleasure this was ecstasy. My vision begins to blur I was going to pass out. The remnants of my vision fading away along with my strength as my legs buckled and I fell collapsing onto Natsu chest.Natsu's POV
I remove my fangs from Sting neck as his legs buckle and he passes out. "Sorry." I murmur to him as I lay him on the bed. My mark is a black dragon with details in gold, silver, and red. An ancient dialect of the dragon language even older than the dialect Stings name was written in. The mark showed my true name Amaterasu. It meant child of the heavens. Or in dragon language it means the child who lights the heavens. I couldn't see the mark that Sting had given me I'd have to ask later what it looked like. I knew what mine looks like I had chosen it after all. I sigh softly, I miss my sight everything was so much harder and took so much more effort. I kiss Sting softly on the lips. Then I turn and run out the door jumping from the balcony I plummet five stories landing in a crouch. I see the humans pointing and staring at me in shock. I take off at a dead run I know I have to get back before Sting wakes up if I don't there will be questions I can't answer. I follow where I'm being drawn to and sure enough I smell Erza and by the noise she's fighting off a monster. I listen silently from the shadows as she takes it down. I can feel the energy change as her body tenses. She knows someone's here. I always had admired Erza's instinct and that 6th sense of hers that always told her when someone was around. The faintest brush of her foot on the ground gives Erza away. I used my dragon slayer speed to get out of her sight. I don't want her to see me. My attack slams into her back catching her unaware. She collapses to the ground.
I turn and bolt back to the hotel. I'm slightly panicked as I race blindly down the street. My dragon slayer agility the only thing that keeps me from falling on my face. I leap up easily landing on mine and Sting's room balcony. I open the door and fling myself onto the bed Stings still out cold. I pick him up and bolt back towards Sabertooth. We're in the middle of the woods. I've been carrying him for several miles I know Erza's still following, I can hear her. That attack of mine didn't keep her down for long. Sting groans softly I clamp my hand over his face his eyes open he looks confused and scared. I put him down on the ground he seems to have recovered mostly and that's good because I can't keep going carrying Sting, getting marked, the mate bond making me feel everything Sting feels, and using my magic while in a weakened state on Erza. I can't stop my legs from buckling. "Hey" Sting whispers "you okay?" My head was spinning and throbbing. I clamped my hands over my ears a cry of pain trying tear up from my throat Sting clamps his hand across my mouth silencing me. He takes a moment to listen then yanks me into his arms I struggle to keep my eyes open "shh, go to sleep" Sting murmurs under his breath. I can't fight the exhaustion anymore and I let myself drift away to sleep.Stings POV
I throw open the guild doors. Everyone looks concerned. I pull open the secret underground cellar and lay Natsu in it. I slam the large stone that blocks the entrance closed. The person that was tailing us throws open the guildhall doors. She a Fairy Tail mage. Erza "Titania" Scarlet a requip mage. "Hello" I say. Her icy eyes move from person to person. She's searching for someone. I can feel Natsu stir beneath us. I can feel his panic not at the fact that he has awoken in a small cramped space but at the fact that Erza is standing in this guildhall. "Was if you who attacked me?" The red head asks a terrifying glint in her eyes. "No" I reply her eyes narrow looking at me intently. "I followed someone here I have a suspicion it was you and if it was then you had to be close by did you see who or what attacked me?" I shake my head and say "no." Erza takes on last look around then turns and walks out of the guildhall as if nothing happened. "Who attacked her?" Rogue asks. I grunt "i don't know I was unconscious. I woke up and I was being carried by Natsu at a dead sprint in the woods. I don't know what happened while I was unconscious." Rogue gives me a look "I think it time you make him talk Sting." I turn and reach for the secret doors handle. I wonder what secrets besides the one he already told me I can get him to tell?
