Stings POV

I grunt as someone shakes my shoulder. "Sting come on wake up. You haven't left this room in a week." I groan my voice still hoarse with sleep "go away Rogue." I hear Rogue snarl then I'm shaken even more roughly. I finally opened my tired bloodshot eyes and looked at Rogue. Rogue has a worried expression. "Okay fine. I'll go eat and take a shower but you have to promise to stay in here with him. Rogue just looks at me "I don't understand why you're so worried about him he's a complete stranger." I turn and look him in the eyes "that stranger saved my life and nearly died because of it. I owe him the decency of being here when he wakes up." Rogue sighs "okay I'll stay here with him. Now go eat and take a shower." I stop before leaving the room and turn my head to get another look at the stranger. His skin is paler than it should be but even so I can tell he's rather pale. He's tan enough to make him have some color but he's by no means bronze like most of the travelers I've come across. His pink hair is shaggy, unkept, shoulder length, and while I only got a brief glimpse of his eyes I knew they were a stunning onyx black. I finally rip my gaze from his peaceful comatose form and go to get some food and a much needed shower.

Natsu's POV

I could feel heat radiating off of Stings body as he sat in the chair beside my hospital bed. I wanted to open my eyes. I wanted to say something. I wanted to tell Sting to go and take care of himself. I so desperately wanted to wake up, but it didn't matter how hard I tried I just couldn't force myself awake. I knew Sting was there I could hear him talk to me. I could hear every question he asked but I could give no response. I also knew that Sting had finally been convinced to go and take care of himself. I could feel a odd coolness touching my skin and I recognized this magic as being Shadow magic which is the magic the one Sting had called Rogue used. I heard his voice as clear as day "I don't know if you can hear me but if you can I want you to know this. My brother is smitten with you even though you've just met and only for a moment at that, but if you hurt him I will make you regret it." I could hear the threat in his voice and it made my heart race. A twinge of excitement races through my veins. He has no idea just how powerful I am. I have not a fear in the world about fighting him. I know I would win. It brought with it memories of my Fairy Tail days. I heard a low sound of curiosity and surprise. "So you can hear me," Rogue said as I hear his feet carry him to the chairs on the other side of the room. I am slightly surprised on how he realized this but then I remember the feeling of my heart racing and the fact that I remember the beeping of the heart monitor. I begin to drift away into a deeper state of unconsciousness. My final thought was that while I was still depressed I was no longer apathetic about everything because now I cared about him. Stings voice drifts into my head and for the first time in a long while I felt safe.

Stings POV

I came back into the guilds infirmary to find Rogue standing at the foot of the stranger's bed with an odd look on his face. I cough softly and Rogue jumps startled. "Hey, has he showed any sighs of waking up?" I ask. Rogue looks at me then says "he stirred for a moment but then settled back down." Before I can reply Rogue asks "why are you so smitten with him. You only met for a moment. He is obviously sick in the head. I mean he was waiting for that demon to rip him to pieces!" Rogue voice had risen and I realized that this must have been eating at him for awhile. I opened my mouth to try to calm Rogue down but Rogue jumped his eyes widening at something behind me. "Before you talk about me being mentally unstable you should make sure your stable yourself Rogue." The voice was deep, raspy, and gravelly. It was the voice of someone who hadn't spoken in some time. Those pitch black onyx orbs seemed to be locked on Rogue. The shudder of rage that tears through Rogue's body tells me that this stranger knew exactly what to say to get under Rogue's skin. Rogue often had bouts of depression and some how this stranger had guessed this about Rogue and had immediately targeted it as Rogue insecurity, his weakness. Rogue stormed out of the infirmary slamming the door behind him.
      I turn and look at the pinkette in surprise. I notice something odd about his eyes they weren't really looking at me they were looking through me, goosebumps rose up on my skin. I use my magic to create a blast of light that exploded in either side of the room but he didn't twitch. This light was bright enough that he should've had to turn his eyes away unless he wanted to see dark spots in his vision for the rest of the day. A thought lodges in my mind and I ask the question that'd become lodged in my head. "You're blind aren't you?" For a moment I thought he was going to get angry and then he begins to laugh. My breath hitches in my throat. He has one of those laughs that tears the breath from your lungs and lights up the entire room. I could only stare as he throws his head back and his laugh rumbles deep in his chest. He doubles over on himself clutching his ribs as he struggles to catch his breath. Then he said "you figured it out. Didn't take you long. Your probably wondering why I thought that question was funny, well I'll tell you. The people who were my friends the people that've known me since Ive been a child couldn't figure out what was wrong with me, and you a complete stranger figured it out almost instantly." He chuckles a few more times before sighing and flinging himself back onto the bed. I look at him his laugh was beautiful, yet bitter, and sorrowful. I could see his eyes begin to flutter as he begins to drift off back into the world of dreams. I jump as I realize I still didn't know his name. "What's your name?" I blurt out. For a moment I thought he hadn't heard me but then I got a soft reply "Natsu" and then he drifted off to sleep.
___________________________So..... I've started another fanfic yay. Its Stingsu and I know my fanfics are pretty crappy but this is an app to write on just for fun and enjoyment. Maybe some of you like them....probably not but I enjoy writing them so.....yeah this little authors note is complete Peace....I'm going to stop now. Lol
