Sometimes, when I see a couple, memories haunt me like a ghost taking me into its vise like grip. I never did anything wrong with any till date, yet I get wronged so many times I didn't bother keeping the count. I wish none of them had done this to me... changed my very core foundations, made me believe that true Love doesn't indeed exist... Not now, not anymore...

But boy was I wrong, again...

*****Back to the past*****

All in all, the remaining of the day was good. With Char on my side, I was quite relaxed. She is like a source of life, always happy... always laughing, making you see the beauty around you, the positivity.

Anna, on the other hand, is serious but knows how to enjoy life. She is carefree and relaxed with the people she knows or cares about. Her serious demeanor changes as soon as she's in private with the people she knows who won't judge her or use her for their family's name and fame.

So, here me and Char were going for our last class hunt of today that is English 104. On our way to class, I told Char about my family, where I came from, dreams, hobbies, almost everything. She told me about her.

She wants to be an event manager but acquiring this degree is their father's dream. She wishes to travel more and live in hilly areas as she's fond of snow and cold.

As for their father, Anna and Char are daughters of a business tycoon Brandon Moretti who is in the business of exporting oils and precious gems. Their mother, Lilly Moretti, is like Char, happy, carefree, and down-to-Earth. Their father loved her till no end. "He is hopelessly in love with Mom, Mary." Said Char. Well, isn't it perfect.! "We have a brother as well. We will tell you about him in due time." she added. I knew better than to ask more about it.

As we were hunting, a student came towards us:

"First years?" he asked nervously.

Char and I bobbed our heads in union.

"Umm, English 104 class is being held on the second level; I would advise you to follow me as Mr. Adam is ... umm, quite strict." He finished his rant.

Needless to say, I and Char followed her.

"Call Anna." I said while following the student.

Char took her phone out and dialed Anna's number all the way till class, but that girl doesn't wanna pick her phone today. Defeatedly, Char dropped her a text with class details and a threatening note.

We were all in the middle of our class when Anna joined us. Mr. Adams, who, as the student said, is strict asked Anna in disapproving tone:

"May I ask where you were Ms.?"

"No. You can't." Said Anna not bothering him with even eye contact.

Collective breaths could be heard all around the classroom, which includes me and Char as well as Mr. Adams, who didn't see this one coming and boy, shocked would be an understatement what we were seeing on his face. He simply grunts and turns towards the board without so much as answering her back and worst detention.
