It took me 4 years, 4 fucking years to more on and build this Empire. The successful, the glamorous, this steady mixing my blood and sweat with hard work. What I still lack is how to love my own self... I seem to forget this...
It amazes me how one person can completely change you. From a loving and caring girl to this heartless and stubborn Woman... well it was one of the most painful roads of 4 years which I wish no one must walk on...
*****Back to the Past*****
Loud banging on my front door brought me back to the human world; continuous banging brought me back to my senses. I was in such a deep slumber. Why disturb me? Oh Almighty. Finding my home sleepers, I walked towards the door which was still being banged like the person on the other side made it it's mission to break it down.
My poor Door. - Me.
Then move your ass faster. - Brain.
Opening door, I was not with a not-so-happy Karen.
"What are you doing here at this time.?" I asked a little bit confused.
"What am I doing? What the hell are you doing? Still sleeping at this time! It's freaking 3 in noon Mary. Get your ass up and come with me." Karen scolded me.
To say I was surprised would be a lie. I was shocked that I slept this much.
"Come where?" I asked Karen, groggy from all that sleep.
"To my place. You will have lunch with me and Hailey and while we are at it, I wanna know what caused this sudden closure in you. Mind to tell me why Bobby was sulking in his shop too because in the morning I left you both quite happy." She said.
"I don't know why he is acting that way, Karen." I said without moving from door.
"Get your keys, lock the apartment and come with me or God help me I will not let you go. We will sort this out over a warm plate of food." Karen threatens me.
Well, who can win from a mother, but I wouldn't trade this for anything.
"Okay. I will be there in 10 mints. Let me wash my face and change." I said sheepishly.
She gave me a scrutinizing glance, turned around and went back to her place.
Geez... Karen is scary. - Me.
Yes, me too. - Brain.
Today was my off from Uni. I had classes on alternate days. So, this means today is going to be a longgg day.
After taking a shower, putting on a sundress as it's summer, took some more sweets for Hailey, I locked my apartment and knocked on Karen's place.
