Ruby's head darted from side to side as she checks the area with Zwei who was right behind her.

You maybe wondering why Ruby is by heself with her dog, it's simple today all first years go on their first solo missions and they will all be gone for a week. True, the young girl finds it odd that their getting solo missions so early when they are first years.

But hey, Ozpin knows what he's doing.

And her missions is to take care of a big activity of grim in emerald forest. Ruby sighs as she continues on with her area check before she calls it a night. All in all, Today wasn't a bad morning.

FLASHBACK

Ruby yawns as she snuggles into her pillow, the softness of her soft pillow. It was like sleeping on a cloud as she moan and snuggled in the morning sun on her skin.

But her patch of heaven was ruined when Weiss pokes her head up "Ruby! wake up! it's time to get up!" she said sternly at her leader.

Said leader moans in annoyance and covers her face with her covers. "10 more minutes! I didn't get enough sleep thanks to the Rose family." she groaned sadly. "I feel her, getting a lecture her mom's family is torture. But that's what happens when your dealing with a family like them." Yang said as she jumps down from her bed.

"Like what?" Blake asked. "The Rose family is crazy hardcore" the blonde said bluntly. "Crazy hardcore? how so?" Weiss asked the blonde curiously.

Yang chuckles, putting her hands on her hips she answers, "Ruby's family are very old and have been around since before Remnant came around. But they are also traditional and still follow the traditions to this day."

"And it get's kinda frustrating because for the fact that they're the stereotypical old traditional Russian family. Sure, they're about the sweetest people you'll ever meet. Trust me; if you two met them you would want to be part of the Rose family clan faster than a heart beat." The blonde stated.

She then frowns "But, they're really scary when it comes to their expecations. It's why Ruby works hard to get a good grade. Which why she gets A+ or B'S, C'S...they're not acceptable" Yang explained wincing at what happened when Ruby got a B+ one time.

"The first time was bad enough. That day still haunts me in my thoughts and dreams" Ruby's muffled voice groaned.

Yang nods her head "Or in other words, the Rose family are very sweet, but crazy with a capital C-R-A-Z-Y!!" the blonde proclaimed loudly.

Weiss shakes her head, well at least she knows that Ruby does have some manners in her life. If she comes from a hardcore family like that they probably taught her how to be a proper lady. The white haired girl sighs as she thinks about the unproper things Ruby does some times.

But it's Ruby she shouldn't expect her partner and friend to be proper all the time.

Sighing she goes back to said partner and grab the covers and jump down. Dragging the covers with her which also brought Ruby down to the floor. "Weiss!!" the black and red haired girl whined looking at her upside down partner.

To the young scythe weiders embarssment, she fell upside down with her knees touching the ground.

Yang busts out laughing at her little sisters preditcment while Weiss and Blake look at her in amazment. "Ruby, I didn't know your were that flexible? I never seen some have their knees touch the floor upside down" Weiss stated.
