Chapter 15: Magical Trouble

As all three of us were walking up the stairs I saw cameras filming us as we were walking. I didn't even know this was going to be live on tv. Once we got up to the gates we met up with Ben's parents. We bowed down to them as they did to us as well. "Listen I just want to say sorry about yesterday.", Mal said to Ben's father. He then smiled at her and said "Ben already explain to me what happened." Ben then turned to his father and said "You also told me that a king needs to show justice every once in a while. Even when it's not easy." As Adam didn't know what Ben meant by that my aunt Belle smiled at Ben and said "Ben your going to make a great King. You just keep listen to your heart." Ben then thanked his mom and dad and turned to me and Mal. "So you two ready?", he said to me and Mal. Mal shook her head while I told Ben I was nervous a bit. "Don't be nervous, all you need to do is stand there with your family and cheer me on.", he said to me which made me laugh. "All right. See you out there, King Ben.", I said to Ben as I gave him a hug. Now I felt like I wanted to cry because it was time to start the coronation. Mal was getting escorted in by one of the loyal men that were behind me and her. I was also escorted in by one of the men as well. Now that I was going in, it was time for the ceremony.

Once I got inside coronation hall, it was beautiful. It almost looked like a church because it had stained glass windows with pictures of every single princess that I knew. As I was still walking I saw a lot of people inside. I saw Audrey with her parents Aurora and Philip, Chad and his parents Cinderella and Prince Charming, Lonnie with her parents Mulan and Shang, Doug and his father Dopey and his other uncles, Jane with her mother The Fairy Godmother, Jim was with his mother Sarah Hawkins, and in the front I saw my parents and my brother looking fancy. My mom wore a black and white pattern dress, my father wore a black tuxedo, and my brother wore a purple tuxedo with a tie to match. Once I got to my family, I hugged them and we took a family picture together. I then excused myself for a moment so I can see my cousins and so I can talk to Jim. "Hi everyone, you all look great. Anyway I'm sorry if I haven't been talking to you guys lately ever since the Vk's came. I shouldn't have been that quiet to you all about what's happened lately, and I shouldn't have told you all the truth about what I'v been doing lately with all of them. I'm still part of this family and I still love you all. I hope you all can forgive me.", I said to my cousins which made them happy. "Apology accepted, Genesis. Welcome back.", said Audrey as she gave me a hug with Lonnie and Jane while the boys also hugged me and gave me a high five. I then walked away from them and went to go talk to Jim. Finally when I got to him I was so nervous to talk to him. Not just because he would not want to see me, but because he looked very handsome. He had on a white tuxedo with a yellow collar, he had on black boots, and he had a badge on that looked like something he got from a academy. I just stood there looking at him until he turned around and saw me. He was looking at me like I was to him. "Hi Jim, you look very handsome today.", I said nervously as I couldn't take my eyes off him. He then said to me "Well at least your complementing me then lying to me." I then looked at him and said "Look Jim, I'm so sorry that I lied to you about who I was going out with the other day. I understand that you have every right to be mad at me. But the truth is that my mind was off and I was kinda getting off topic." He then smiled at me and said "A little off topic?" I then said "Ok, a lot off topic. But what I'm trying to say is that you have always been there for me all theses years I have been in Auradon and I can't believe that I have forgotten about you like I didn't need you anymore, but that's not true Jim. You make me smile everyday, you make me laugh when you do or tell something funny to me, and you hang out with me whenever you want to see me again." He then looked at me and he was smiling so attractive to me. I then blush at him as he was still looking at me. "Well, I'm glad you told me this. I'm sorry for walking away from you and calling you a liar. The truth is that I really love spending time with you to and I want to be there for you no matter what.", he said to me as he grabbed my hand. I then started to cry a tiny bit so I wouldn't ruin my mascara. It's just that I didn't know he had feelings for me that much. As I wiped away my tears I heard the bells ring and it was time for the coronation to begin. "Well the coronation is about to begin but after the coronation come find me later at the after party. I want to tell you something. By the way if I forgot to tell you, you look beautiful.", said Jim as he kissed my cheek which made me feel something in my heart. I think I know who is the right one for me. I then walked back to my family and stand to see the coronation start. At last I saw the Fairy Godmother got out her magic wand and the coronation began.
