I got home, ran to my bedroom, threw my back-pack into the wall and fell face deep into my assortment of pillows. I groaned loudly and covered the back of my head with my hands and flipped over. I didn't give a full description of my room.

It was almost a square, but my door was at an angle. I had a line that walled the right of the door, and it had a reading bench, filled with comfortable padding and almost a dozen pillows. Also on the corresponding wall the bathroom. Then a few more feet was my closet. On the other wall was my window, and against it was my bed. And then my side table, with a simple lamp. Up above my closet was an indent where the wall came in almost like a shelf, and I had a lantern, a silky drapery, and books that I'd never read, and didn't plan to.

Anyways, I flipped over on my back and watched the ceiling. My eyes watering, I was about to burst into a deep sob when my computer buzzed. I quickly wiped the tear prepared to fall and brought my laptop on my legs. I opened it and my video chat was going off. I questioned it, but answered.

"Hey." I said into the computer camera. Then I noticed how puffy my eyes were.

"Hey, Iz." My caller responded back.

I smiled at him and kissed my hand, then held it up to my screen.

"I miss you." I said as I brought my hand back down.

He smiled and did the same gesture as I had.

He smiled at me and replied "You too honey."

I faked another smile and tucked my hair behind my hair. Finally I felt more sane, because my dad was calling myself. His uniform snug on his torso. He had a closely shaved head, his nose firm and his eyebrows somewhat bushy. He had brown eyes like mine and we had the same small pink lips.

"How's work?" I asked, relaxing back in my position.

"Fine, Maryland is beautiful, I can't wait for you to see it babe." He smiled, his teeth brightening my mood. "You look amazing sweetie, how is the boy drama?" He winked.

I cocked my head back with a slight laugh, "Horrible. I have a crush. And Adam, he's my number two supporter, and then tomorrow I have a date at a lunch table."

My dad chuckled and said, "Well, there all gonna go crazy over you. Your beautiful."

"Whatever." I sneered.

Something behind my dad sounded and he looked to his right.

"Hey Peanut, I gotta go. I love you, sleep tight babe."

"Night daddy." I smiled.

He did the same gesture and closed his computer. I sighed, and closed mine.

Hearing my father's voice had changed my mood, and I was now ready to do something. I confined my computer and raised up, walking over to a plug. I turned on the nearby stereo and listened to some pop music, while I dabbled in my homework.

I thought about everything that happened today, and why Lindsey would already want to take out my eyeballs. I sighed again and started to take a break. Dancing my heart out to the beat of the pulsing music. Finally I got tired, sweaty and hot, and went to take a drink. I found my mom in the kitchen, dancing the night away while prepared dinner. I slightly spanked her and stole and earphone. She gave me a funny smirk and continued cooking.

I laughed and grabbed a water bottle. I got back to my room, took a huge slurp and continued my homework. While my head bobbed back and forth to the rythme.

After an hour, more or less, I finsihed homework and set it back in my folder. While I stuffed it back in my bag, I breathed deeply and hung my head a bit.

Guess I had to find out tomorrow why Lindsey hated me.
