Jailan laid down in front of me on her blanket as I sat down and folded some clothes I just washed while watching some TV. We we're both waiting on our Corey to come home and I honestly was over it all. I didn't care what he did to Marlo. Whatever happened his dumbass deserved it for putting my baby in danger.
Luckily Jailan wasn't harmed in any kind of way but I almost passed away due to the loss of blood after the stabbing and when I was giving birth to Jailan I lost more blood than normal.
I was slowly getting my strength back since it's almost been a month. My baby was almost a month and she was born on a very crazy day. One all of us will surely remember.
Jailan made a cooing noise as she rolled over on her side. While staring up at me with her bottom lip poking out.
"Oh no." I folded the last piece of clothing I had and grabbed her carefully as I removed my shirt and let her latch on to my breast.
Ever since she was born postpartum depression kicked in bad. I was warned that it would happen but that on top of a traumatic event. Really fucked me up.
Corey has been a really good help though and so has my father. Sidney has been coming around more also. He's been feeling a type of way so I gotta figure out what's been going on. A best friend always knows when something is up.
Jailan started to spit up and her eyes closed as her little chest started to speed up. I realized she was choking and I laughed to where my head was hurting.
"It's okay fat mama. Slow down the milk not going no where boo." I slowly let her latch back on, and as if she understood me she started to drink at a normal pace.
I smiled and rubbed her curls down as I kissed her forehead the bell rung.
I sighed and lifted her up and brought my shirt down just a little so company wouldn't see my titty flopping all over the damn place.
There Sidney, Rehgan and Teyana stood with of course bags of foods in their hands or they was not getting access into this home.
"Hey family!" I said loudly as they clicked their tongues and walked in.
I laughed and looked into the McDonald's bag seeing a 10 piece nugget and a double cheeseburger.
"Thank you, Sid."
"Your welcome." He kissed my forehead and held his arms out for Jailan who was finished eating and resting her head on my chest.
I gladly handed her over as I went to town on my food, but remembering. "Please burp her, and don't move her around too much because she just got her shots yesterday and it's still a little tender."
"I got you, sis!" He yelled back. I peeped into the living room seeing him lay her down on the couch and play with her legs.
I smiled and looked up seeing Teyana staring at me.
"What's wrong now?" I groaned.
"Nothing. You just look so happy, and I'm honestly so happy that your happy." I saw the tears in her eyes and I sighed getting up to hug her.
