"What's going on?"
I sat down on my bed and folded my hands in front of me.
"What's this I hear about you raising your hands at my cousin?"
"I don't even know what you talking about." He reached for the door and I closed my eyes and spoke again.
Nigga.
"If you so much as open that door ima tackle your ass. Now tell me what the fuck happened." I continued looking him in the eyes as his we're everywhere a mile a minute.
"I didn't actually hit her king, and I was so close to." He slid down the door and buried his face in his hands. "I was so mad at myself bro. She just kept asking questions and it pissed me off. You know how I am king."
"I know but don't ever raise ya hand at a female unless she straight double decked ya ass." He laughed and I giggled a little bit before giving him a straight face again. "I mean it."
"I know. I know." He got up and hugged me close then placed a kiss on my forehead. "I love you and I'll apologize."
"You haven't already nigga?"
He skipped around me and went for the door. I wasn't about to chase after his ass so I just shook my head.
"Fuckin dickhead and give me my baby back!"

"My baby is getting so big and fat!" I cooed at my baby as she splashed her hands around in water and stared up at me with her big brown eyes. "Lord you look just like your father."
I washed under her little arms as she screamed at any and everything. She was making more noises and talking a lot more now. It was astounding to me. She was getting so big and as a proud mother I was about to cry. So I did.
I wiped my tears as I watched her. I went through so much to lead up to this point and I'm just glad she's okay. I just wanted to better myself to be the best mother I could be to this little girl and so far I feel like I was doing a pretty good job.
I was a mother and she was my daughter.
I blocked Jailan's forehead as I let the water run through her hair to get the shampoo out. She almost fussed but I shushed her.
"It's okay mama. It's just a little water, your okay. Your okay."
I rubbed over her face with my hand and she calmed down and just sat there being a good baby as I finished up.
"Okay my love bath time is done."
I lifted her out the sink with the towel and laid her on my shoulder and she stared over at me with her fist in her mouth.
I kissed her nose and smiled as I walked back into Corey and I's room while laying her down on her back and giving her my phone to occupy her while I dressed her for bed.
I put lotion all over her body and rubbed some coconut oil through her curly hair and put on her onesie. I let her roll around on the bed and I freshened up myself. I had already took a shower earlier so I was just doing my nightly face routine.
