Never Let You Go-A Romione Story

Proposal

1st person Ron's POV

Today's the day, I thought, today is the day I ask the love of my life to marry me.

Yep, that's right, I'm going to ask Hermione Granger to marry me. I like the sound of Hermione Weasley... it has a nice ring to it.

I reached into my pocket and felt the soft velvet box that held the ring that would hopefully secure our love. (I tried putting a picture of the ring but it wouldn't let me) I starred at myself in the mirror one last time before going down to the living room of me and Hermione's flat to wait for her. She's  still at the Ministry of Magic, probably working her ass off with absolutely nothing, (does that make sense?) I thought. Just then, the door in the kitchen opened. "Ron! I'm home." She said as she walked through the kitchen and into the living room. "Hello Love, how was work?" "Same as usual. People arguing with me about whether we should do this or that. Even when they know I know what to do. And they won't listen to me and I am just not in a very good mood right now, mind if I go and sleep?" Oh no! I  thought she had to stay out here!
"Ummm... is there anyway I could lighten your mood?" I asked. "I don't think so. Why do you ask?" She said, sitting down next to me. Here it goes. I slid off the coach and got down on one knee. Hermione's hands flew to her mouth. "Hermione Granger, I've known you for 11 years now and you have been the best friend I've ever had. I love you with all my heart and I have since 3rd year. Even though I acted like I hated you, I didn't. I've loved you for so long and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Hermione Jean Granger, will you make me the happiest wizard alive, by being my wife?" I asked hopefully. Hermione had tears running down her face and she slowly began to nod her head. "Yes." She said. "Yes yes yes." She said as she wrapped her arms around my neck in a tight embrace. When we pulled away I kissed her passionately. And the one kiss led to many great things.
