300 days too long (part 1)

Muggle AU where Hermione is a muggle but Ron is still a wizard. They are still dating, but for the first time since they've been dating, Ron has to leave for yet another year at hogwarts.

"When do you leave again?" Hermione asked as she snuggled closer to her boyfriend. "In a week. Next Tuesday." Ron responded, tightening his grip around Hermione's small waist. Hermione just whimpered and tried to get closer to Ron, of that was even possible. "It'll be ok love. It will be just like the years before now." "But that was when we were just friends, sure it bothered me then but it really bothers me now. I'm gonna miss you too much." "I know baby. I'm going to miss you too."

Time skip to September 1st

Hermione couldn't believe it was time for him to go. She don't want him to. But luckily, she was able to go with Ron to Kings Cross station to say goodbye to him. She rode here with his family. She walked hand in hand with Ron, his family following behind them, and her grip tightening as they got closer to platform 9 3/4. Suddenly, Ron let go of her hand, moving closer to her, and snaked his arm around her waist, pulling her close to his side. "What was that for?" She asked him. "Well, first of all, I'm going to miss you and I don't want to leave, and second, some guys were staring at you and you're mine." He said, looking down at her. "That's cute." Ron blushed and looked away from her. Soon they came to platform 9, where they had to run straight into a brick wall and probably look like idiots to other people. Ron went first, pushing his trolley through the wall, and Hermione followed close behind him.
After someone took Rons things, she jumped into his arms, never wanting to let go. Ron held her small from against him, also not wanting to let go. "Don't go." Hermione whimpered. "I'm sorry baby." Was all Ron said back. Then the train whistle blew, signaling it was about to leave. "I have to go." Ron said, pulling away from the hug. "I love you." He said. "I love you more." Ron kissed his girlfriend one last time before getting on the train. But as soon as he sat down, the train started to move. He waved to Hermione as her figure slowly faded off.
