So this story is about HERMIONE getting detention. With Professor Umbridge. And I know what you're thinking "Hermione getting detention?" But you can just deal with it. It is set during fifth year and Ron and Hermione are already dating.
Hermione slowly made her way down the empty corridor, cursing herself for being so stupid. Hexing a teacher? What was she thinking? And now, she has a weeks detention. With Umbridge. And she was not happy. Ron didn't know she had detention. But it's best if he didn't know. Especially since it was with Umbridge. He would hex her (Umbridge) into next year.
She came to the DADA classroom and opened the door, walking up the staircase, and knocking at the office door. She waited a minute until she heard a small voice say, "Come in." She cautiously opened the door and walked inside. "Have a seat." Umbridge said. Hermione sat down, not once looked at the teacher that stood in front of her. "You know miss Granger, I never expected you to do such a thing. Hexing your teacher. Me. What were you thinking? Oh I guess you weren't thinking, since a mudblood like yourself wouldn't" (I really hated myself while writing this) Hermione flinched, she hated that word. That stupid ugly word. "What will I be doing Professor?" She asked, trying to ignore the first comment from Umbridge. "You will be a writing lines for me." Hermione flinched
again, she heard about this from Harry. "What will I be writing?" She asked. "I was going to have you write "I will not hex my teachers" but I have changed my mind. You will be writing"Mudblood" 200 times." Hermione felt tears forming in her eyes. Unbridge handed her the dreaded quill that used your blood as ink and Hermione starred at her with a face of disgust. Umbridge just gave a small laugh and sat down at her desk waiting for Hermione to start writing.200 lines later, Umbridge let her go back to the common room. She walked down the quiet and empty corridor, once again. She walked into the common room and gasped. "Hermione, you're back. Where have you been? Studying in the library?" Her boyfriend asked her, coming to meet her in the center of the room. "Not exactly." She said. "Where were you then?" "Detention" she mumbled, inaudible for Ron to hear. "What?" "I was in detention." She said, a little louder, looking down at her feet. "What? Why? Hermione, what happened?" "I hexed Umbridge." "That's bloody brilliant Hermione, but let me assume, you had to go do detention with Umbridge?" Hermione nodded. "What she make you do?" Hermione felt tears forming in her eyes again, as she brought up her left hand to show Ron the scarred skin. Ron gasped, and wrapped Hermione in a hug. Her tears were now soaking his shirt, and she held onto him tighter. "It's alright love. It will fade, it won't be there forever." Hermione nodded into his shirt, and felt herself getting tired. "I'm going to bed Ron." She said, pulling away from Ron's arms. "Stay out here with me?" Ron asked her. "Sure." Ron pulled her over to he coach and laid down, pulling Hermione down with him, and Hermione fell asleep immediately, cuddled up in her lovers arms.
