Gina sauntered from the boardroom to her office with Cindy trailing behind her. They had just come from the presentation by Noel and his people, it had been fruitful but she hadn't expected anything short of perfection from the man. As a long time client, she was impressed. The younger woman turned the knob pushing the door open then moved to the side to allow her boss in.

"Cindy did you check if everything was in order for tonight's event?" She asked occupying her chair behind the desk.

"Yes ma'am it's all perfect, the doors will be opening immediately at six p.m."

Gina nodded opening her laptop's lid. "And my dress?" She asked.

"I sent it to your address ma'am, Miss Rosanna confirmed its arrival." She replied.

The other woman was on the phone now. "Hello mom, did you get the dress I sent you yesterday?" She asked, after listening to the response she said, "alright mom, I will ask him although I don't doubt I can handle it on my own." She said twirling a pen between her thumb and index finger. "Alright, I will tell him, but that's only because you said Sue will be offended. Okay, bye mom." She hang up then turned to Cindy. "Everything seems perfect Cindy, I will see you in the evening alright?" She said smiling.

"Alright." She answered then turned away to leave, she opened the door just as Eddie pushed it open. She gave him a nod, before scurrying away. He closed the door behind him then went ahead to sit down.

"I was just about to give you a call." Gina informed.

"Missed me already?" He teased wagging his brows suggestively.

She snickered then said, "don't flatter yourself Raymond, your mother wanted me to tell you we are ribbon cutting, I protested of course because we know you don't do limelight, but then Lady Sue will not have any of it." She said shoving her hands in the air.
"Lady Sue?" He questioned with a quirky brow.

She pursed her lips together, as if in deep thoughts then said. "Ah, you thought I wouldn't find out your dad was an earl?" It wasn't a question. She chuckled softly at his surprised expression.

"Okay, mom told you?" He asked. She shook her head briskly a smile on her face. "Uh... you googled me!" He beamed at the realization. He laughed devilishly, then with a smirk on his face he said, "oh my, you googled me, hmm, I feel special, I could walk on heels right now."

Gina rolled her eyes. Then their eyes met, they didn't avert their gazes until Eddie stood up and took her hand and led her to the huge, floor to ceiling window. He removed his jacket then sat down on the floor, pulling her down with him. She got the cue and sat down, after getting rid of her feminine business jacket, she sat down on the space between his legs, her head tilted backwards so that she was lying on his toned chest.

His arms wound around her waist and he sighed satisfactorily. "You barely know me," he began as they watched the busy streets beneath them and the evening sun. "For that I'm sorry. From now on..." he trailed off and kissed her forehead. "I will do this right, I want to do this right." He said softly.

"Eddie_"

"I know, I know you can't. I cannot either, but I want to, we want to and that's all that matters baby." He whispered.

The endearment caught her off guard, she hadn't been ready nor expected it. She always dreaded a day when a man would break her walls and seek to enter. But the man holding her now wasn't asking for permission, he was demanding in. Hell, he already was without either of them even realizing it. Slowly a smile crept on her lips, she found herself biting her lower lip to suppress a giggle.

"Marshall?" He called looking down at her.

"Yes, Raymond." She answered holding in her breath.
