THE NEXT MORNING, was rudely awoken by a knock on her door. She looked at the spot where Alec feel asleep but so see him gone. A note was left in his place.
"Duty calls. I'll text you later." ~Alec
Valerie rolled her eyes at the note. Another knock at her door. She didn't bother getting up. "What the fuck do you what?"
"I know where the cup is."

Right now, Valerie is getting ready at Magnus' apartment. Jace, Clary, and Luke went down to the police to get some cards which were on Luke's desk. She changed into some dark red ripped jeans and a black long sleeve crop top. She also put on some black heals and she twin French braided her hair. Valerie applied some mascara and some red lipstick before she got a call on her new phone —thank you Magnus— from Clary.
"Hello?"
"We need your help. Luke got arrested. Jace called Alec and Izzy, they should be here soon."
"Alright I'm on my way." Valerie hung up. She grabbed the keys to her car. Again, thank you Magnus. Valerie left Magnus' apartment after leaving a note.
Once Valerie got there, she parked her car and went to meet Jace and Clary in front of the station. "Don't worry, the best looking out of this bunch is here and ready to save the day yet again."
Clary smiled at Valerie. "Thank you for helping."
"I always have your back, sis."
Izzy and Alec come up from behind Valerie. "Someone call for backup?"
Jace looks at Izzy. "Yeah. What took you guys so long?"
"Funny, I was gonna ask you the same thing." Alec's breath ticked Valerie's neck which made her shiver. An action that Alec noticed and he smirked.
"It's complicated."
Valerie rolls her eyes. "They found the cup."
Izzy looks at Clary in shock. "The cup?"
"Yeah, but then we lost it." Clary sighed. "We have to sneak back in the precinct to get it."
