It's after 12, like way after, but hey sleep finds you not the other way around!
-----------------

So after the initial 'meeting' from the train windows you'd think that the universe would finally let these two boys meet and actually see each other's faces close up right? They thought so to.

After getting off the train and regrouping with the other first years, they found themselves on opposite ends of the line for First years to get on a boat, on different boats, despite Harry waiting, and finally practically trampled by the moving crowd of eleven-year-olds.

As the First years waited outside the Great Hall for a professor, Draco was making his way to Harry, pushing through all of the boys undying fans.

"You know, you'd think the celebrity thing would go to your head, but you look terrified!" Draco commented finally meeting the boy face to face. Harry, having remembered the voice from the train as well as the blond hair, grinned.

"Yeah, you'd think so, growing up with my dad that his personality would leak into mine." He glazed into Draco's silver eyes "they're crazy, the whole lot of them!"

He didn't expect for Draco to practically burst into tears and jump onto him, but he managed to keep his balance when he did. His hand running through silky platinum blond hair as the boy sobbed tears of joy. "Oh, thank Merlin! Someone who understands. I don't think I could stand them any longer." Draco pulled his face from Harry's chest looking straight into deep green eyes. "I was so close to killing the both of them!"

"Shh. It's okay they can't reach you here. The crazy can't get you here." Harry paused thinking for a second "I hope...." He said more as an afterthought. Draco shuttered at the thought and his his face again in Harry's chest. Harry being the taller of the two, having at least two to three inches on Draco. What Harry didn't know was that Draco only did this so no one would see the mischievous grin that grew onto his face. Oh Harry.......

Meanwhile the Black brothers, having practically sensed Draco's grin, both turned to each other and dramatically sighed. This pulled James and Remus' attentions to them.

"Such a shame we never got to say goodbye to Draco." Sirius moped.

"Yeah, the brat got rid of us before we could." Regulus growled his fists clenching as he remembered being kicked off the train.

Remus sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "You two tried to hex a child."

"No not a child," Sirius started seeming proud of himself "it was a teenager, thirteen." James just face-palmed wondering when did Sirius' brain die on him.

"Be that as it may," Remus started about to lecture the two Blacks, but was interrupted when Regulus suddenly jumped up from his chair excited.

     "I have a plan!"

The First years then met McGonagall, who seemed very intimating at first, then she saw Harry and Draco practically latched onto each other and decided to ask what was wrong. Harry's back was to her so she only saw Draco's face when he looked up to address the elderly lady. Immediately recognizing her from Sirius' description.

"What's wrong child?" Draco smirked on the inside stopping Harry from turning around to face the lady.

"Nothing Professor...." He whispered timidly "just tears of relief that someone knows or pain of having been raised by our guardians."

McGonagall raised an eyebrow at this. "Oh? And by chance who would your guardians be?"
