Lisa's POV

After vomiting, I went out. Stefano was waiting for me, concerned. When he saw me, he asked, "Are you okay?"

I shook my head. I didn't feel alright. "It would be better if I go home. Sorry."

"Don't worry. Let's go."

We went out and got in his car. He drove me home and finally stopped in front of my house.

"Thank you. Goodbye."

"You're welcome. Bye."

I got out of the car and went inside the house. I went to my bedroom. I changed my clothes and went to bed.

When I opened my eyes, I noticed I felt better. I got up and went to the bathroom.

After taking a shower, I put on a black pencil skirt and a coral blouse. Just as I finished getting dressed, my phone rang. I grabbed it. It was Stefano.

"Good morning. Are you feeling better?"

He was thoughtful. It made me feel more guilty about hiding what had happened between Zack and me.

"Good morning," I greeted him. "Yes, I am. Thank you. I'm sorry about dinner."

"No problem. Health comes first. But I do need to talk to you," he said. "I will be busy for the next two days, but after, can we meet up?"

What if he found out about Zack and me? But, it was impossible. Or could he? No, Lisa. He doesn't know.

If he knew the truth, he wouldn't be acting like this.

I also wanted to talk to him. I needed to clear the situation between us. I need to tell him that I don't want to marry him. I don't want to lie to him anymore. I don't love him, and I can't be with him.

I love Zack!

I know that nothing would happen between Zack and me, but I couldn't be with Stefano when I loved someone else. I couldn't do that to him.

"Yes, let's meet up. I want to talk to you, too."

"Ok. See you."

"See you."

I put my phone in my bag and went out. I met up with Valeria. We went shopping. After shopping, we went to the cafe.

"Did Zack call?" she asked. Even his name made my heart beat faster.

"No, he didn't," I murmured.

I missed him a lot, but I hadn't heard anything from him since I last saw him. My heart tightened at the thought of never seeing him again.

"What an asshole!"

"Why would he call me? We aren't together. I'm nothing to him. I was only his distraction for a while," I muttered.

Valeria placed her hand on top of my hand. "I'm sorry, dear."

I smiled slightly. "Let's go. I'm tired." She nodded.

When we got up, I suddenly felt dizzy and sat back down.

Valeria rushed to my side.

"Are you alright?" she asked, worriedly. She rubbed my back. "Please, bring a glass of water," she said to the waiter.

She helped me drink the water after the waiter brought it.

"Are you feeling better now?"

"Yes, thank you."
