Chapter 3

DEPATURE ON CLAM ISLAND
THE MISTERY OF THE SECRET VILLAGE

"Alright! I'm off to find my crew. Who's with me?" Yukiko invited to whoever's that listen.

"Ooh! Ooh! I wanna come!"

"Me too!"

"Wait for me!"

"May I come as well, Yukiko-chan?"

Luffy, Usopp, Chopper and Brook replied to her invite. The others though, decided to go on a supply run for the Sunny. Nami, Robin, Sanji and Franky went to the city, leaving Zoro to guard the ship alone. As Yukiko and the others walk pass the city, they do heard a few common rumors about something called the Battle Royal. Yukiko might have eavesdropped into a few conversation when they pass by.

"I bet that the Battle Royal this year is much more epic than ever!"

"I heard that the king has the world's strongest man as his gladiator."

"No way! I gotta see it tomorrow!"

"Hey, what do you think the winner would asked the new king?"

"Probably money. That is if he survived."

The group of people laughed while Yukiko smirked at the thought. 'So the winner can asked something from the king? This has gotta be something good.' She thought and giggling softly to herself. She continued walking with the others until they found a bar. The bar was quite loud with music blasting theouhg the roof, but when they enter, dead silence fell upon the bar. Everyone was staring at them but the group doesn't even care. Especially Luffy.

"Ooh! Hey lady! I want some food!" Luffy exclaimed, running towards the counter and sat on one of the remaining seats.

The rest sat next to him with Yukiko being on his left and the rest on his right. Everyone ordered the drinks and food they want and the bartender served it to them.

"Man! This food is good!" Luffy commented with his mouth full.

"Excuse me lady, have seen these people?" Yukiko asked, handing her two wanted posters.

The bartender take a look at it and replied "Nah. They've never been here."

"Well. Thank you." Says Yukiko, feeling a disappointed with the results.

"So what's all about this Battle Royal?" She asked and silence fell onto the bar.

"What?" She asked curiously.

"Hey kid, if you don't want to get killed, you better keep your mouth shut." A man said.

"Why's that?" She asked again.

"The Battle Royal ain't for little kids like you, so go on and run back to your momma."

"Yeah. I bet you're just acting tough but you're as scared as a little kitten aren't ya?!" A diffent man said and made the whole bar to laugh.

That statement does nothing but pissed off Yukiko. She gulped down her vodka before chucking the glass towards the guy who said that. It silenced the bar for the third time.
