Chapter 8

TROUBLES IN THE ISLAND
THE MYSTERIOUS ARCHER APPEARED

"Grr.. I can't believe that idiot! Why does he have to just run off every now and then?! We need something to look after him!" Nami complained.

"Yeah. But he might just slip away from that and run off again. We are talking about Luffy. He basically slip away from everything. Even death remember?" Usopp stated, mentioning the facts about his captain.

"I don't know if he's extremely lucky or just plain stupid. But he's gonna need all of it when I see him again." Usopp started to cower behind Brook as he saw flames erupting from Nami.

With Chopper in the front leading the group, everyone else followed behind with having a rope tied to everyone's waist. This way, they might not split up. But there's still a flaw to their plans. Chopper was in the front and he fears everything that's in front of him.

*snap!* "Aaaaagghhh!!!!" He yelled as he clinged onto Zoro.

"Oi! Oi! Calm down! It's just a twig!!" Zoro called out and he calmed down a little before getting off of him.

"Chopper, can I help-kio?" Riley offered.

He untied himself from the back and walk straight to the front of the group. He crouch down and placed his hands on the ground while having his eyes closed. He stayed like that for a minute or so before opening it again.

"Uh... What did you do?" Nami asked.

"You'll see-kio." He said.

He stood up and stomped the ground once. Suddenly, water emerged from the ground and made a water trail. Everyone was amazed by his ability as he took on the front of the group, leading everyone.

"How did you do that?" Nami asked.

"Since I can control water, I can control every single drop of it-kio." He replied.

"Like every type of water? Even the ocean?"

"Partially, but everything else? Yes. The best part of it is that water is everywhere-kio. The ground, the air and even inside of people-kio. Except for Brook of course-kio."

"Don't worry, I'm just a bag of bones anyways! Yohohohohoho!!!"

Riley laughed and said "I will never get tired of your bones joke. It's gold-kio!"

"Not gold, but calcium."

"Wahahahahha!!!

"So, by you controlling the water, is that how you manage to locate this island?" Nami asked.

"Yes I did. I can locate anything as long as it's connected to water. Including the herbs that we're heading to right now-kio."

"Oh! So the trail leads to the herbs that we need?" Chopper asked and Riley nodded.

"Well then, let's go Chopper!" Usopp exclaimed as he untie himself from the group and carrying Chopper along with him.

"Oi! You guys! Don't run off!! You might run into--"

Nami was cut off when the ground suddenly shake violently. It freaked out some of them but everyone freaked out even more when the boulder in front of them moved, stood up and revealed to be a..

"D-D-DRAGON BEETLE!!!!!!"

They all panicked and ran for their lives to the opposite direction. They ran and ran as fast as they can while yelling as loud as they possibly could. But running and yelling actually brought them to their downfall as they all fall down a chasm. Everyone tumbling down the hard surface of the ground. When they stopped falling, they found themselves in an even sticky situation as they all were split up.
