Chapter 10

A SIBLINGS QUARREL AND
THE TROUBLES OF THE ANTIDOTE

From where we left things off, back at the Sunny, Sanji had met a girl who can turn into a mouse on her will. Not only that, the girl also warned them about Yukiko and her conditions. Then, in the forest, they've been split up into two group. One consisting the rest of the group while the other consisting of Zoro and Usopp.

"Oi Zoro. Where are we going actually?" Usopp asked being a little tired from walking.

"I don't know. Honestly, I'm just following." He stated bluntly.

"SO WE'VE BEEN GOING AROUND MINDLESSLY ALL THIS TIME?!"

"Pretty much."

"We're gonna die out here... I'm gonna die out here.." He whimpered.

Then he perked up hearing something rustling in the bushes. He tnese up when he spotted a tail, thinking that it's a tiger or something. He freaked out until he jumped onto Zoro.

"Oi! What are you--?!!"

"T-T-T-There's s-something i-in th-t-the b-b-bushes!" He stuttered pointing towards the source of the sound.

He also noticed it and become aware of it. He faced the bush, waiting for whatever that's going to jump out. In the end comes out a... black cat. It made Usopp dumbfounded of it and quickly got off of Zoro.

"Whew! I-I mean-haha!! I was just pretending to be scared to show this beast t-that I can trick it into believing me! The great Usopp, to be a prey before I capture it!" He rambled on.

"Uh-huh. Sure." Zoro ignored him and continue to walk.

"Hey wait, Zoro! We have to go a different way!" Usopp called him out.

"Why?"

"Can't you see? A black cat means bad luck."

"Well I don't believe in superstitions. If you're too afraid follow me anymore, then beat it and catch up with the others."

"I am not scared of the forest!" He turns around and walked towards it. Noticing how gloomy and dark it actually is. With piercing, gleeming eyes staring and watching him. Sounds of a million animals ran in the forest that strike fear to his heart. Then he finally lose it as he ran back towards Zoro.

"W-W-Well!! I-It's good to be cautious with you!" He said and Zoro still ignored him.

As they walk further, the black cat from earlier followed them and rub against Usopp. "Hey. Get off you! Stop following us." He tried to get the cat off his leg but the cat refuse.

"Just let it be. It probably wanted to be friends with you." Zoro mentioned.

"I do actually."

Zoro and Usopp was dumbfounded. Looking around trying to find whoever's that's talking. "I'm right down here." The voice called, leading towards the black cat that sits on the ground.

"Z-Zoro... I-Is he.. t-talking?" Usopp asked.

"I am." The cat replied. "Nice to meet you!"

Zoro squat down to meet with the cat better and asked "How come you can talk?"

"It's because I'm not fully cat." The cat then stood up and changed into a teenage boy with cat ears and tail, having to wear a black jumpsuit.

"Whoa! So you're a devil fruit user?" Usopp asked.

"I.. don't know what that is." He replied.

"So then... Why are you following us?"

"Like I said, I want to be friends with you."
