Chapter 13

A FIERCE FIGHT BETWEEN MEN
HAWKEYE REMI VS METAL DEVIL

There stood both of the opponents, Metal Devil King Horu and Hawkeye Remi. The scene was rather silent with everything that is going to unveil. In a flash, Horu waved his big arms in a manner that made all the metal around them to move, making it to head towards Remi who quickly dodged the incoming attack. Horu kept attacking him, over and over again. Unable keep up, Remi had to run around to not get hit by his attacks. Meanwhile, the others who are kept to the side, were worried about Remi. Especially his family.

'Dammit! This isn't good. How the hell is he gonna fight if he can't shoot?!' Yukiko thought to herself.

"Why won't he shoot? He could win against that guy right?" Shiro asked.

"Not really. Like every other snipers, he can only shoot when he's not in a moving state-kio. He needs to be still enough to steady himself and his aim so that he can shoot properly. He can't possibly shoot when hes' running around like that-kio."

"So he needs to be still? Don't some archers can shoot even when moving?" Usopp asked.

"Some, but unfortunately not him-kio."

Back to Remi, he was in a real pinch. He couldn't run away from Horu forever and finally, Horu caught up to him. He manage to strike him away and sent him flying. He limps back upward, grasping his bow weakly in his hands.

"Come on boy! I know you got more back bone than that!!" Said Horu.

"Argh! Shut up!!" He finally stops running, standing still with some blood dripping down his body. He pulled back an arrow and said. "Take this you devil! FENIKKUSU NO HI NO YA!!!!"

He shoots and a phoenix shaped fire burst out as it traveled through the field, hitting Horu in the end. He burst into flames and he screamed in pain. Remi smirked in victory before doing the shot again and again. When he was sure that he won, he ran towards the others to release them, only to be stopped when a piece metal was shot towards him and struck him in his right eye! He was thrown back while his blood curdling scream escapes.

"REMI!!!" Yukiko, Riley and Zoro helplessly scream out to him.

He was down, limping on the ground while holding his eyes in pain with a pool of blood puddled by him. Everyone was horrified seeing him in such a state. He trembled his way back on his feet but even himself knew that he couldn't do much. And then, he emerged from the smoke of the field.

"I... can't.. see..." He pants.

He tried to grab his bow and shoot, but he misses terribly. "REMI STOP! DON'T PUSH YOURSELF!!" Riley warned him but he ignored him. Then, Horu strikes him and threw him back.

"HORU!! STOP THIS!! HE HAD ENOUGH!! IF YOU WANT ME THEN TAKE ME!! JUST LET HIM GO!!!"

"YUKIKO NO!!"

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!"

Horu smirked at what she said and jerked his head towards her. Yukiko flinched, seeing his smirking face so suddenly. He moved a step closer and an explosive arrow exploded onto him. Looking back at the source, there was Remi, bruised up and bloodied, but still standing on his feet to fight him off. His one eye was half opened and his posture was weak.

"Ooh! You've got some backbone after all! I praised ya for that boy! Oi girly, I'll take your deal. But, enough just isn't enough."

Horu laughed after his sentence and bring his arm up with his metal following it. He hold it out and the metal headed towards Remi, wrapping around him. He was hoisted up and away before he slammed right into the ground. He raised him up again and slammed him back to the ground. He did it, over and over again and the rest was shocked to see the gruesome scene, unveiling in front of them. The three Roronoas that are on the side were just baffled by what to do with their minds flushed with the thought of Remi dying.
