I felt him kiss my cheek as I dosed off, my heart fluttering for the last time of the night. I slept well, not once stirring.

"Mmmm..." I began to stretch.

Kale's arms were wrapped around me. I felt myself smile as I tucked my head back into his chest. He tightened his hold, as if he was hugging me. I wanted to speak, but I heard him snore. It was soft, and it made me giggle.

My arms were on his stomach, my hands holding onto his shirt. Things were very peaceful, which differed from the turmoil I was put through when he was awake. If we could stay like this, I could die happy. Laying in his arms, I ended up falling asleep again.

"Leo."

I woke to lite shaking. It was noon when Kale woke me up. He kissed my nose as he stroked my cheek. "Wake up." He said climbing out of bed.

I slowly sat up and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. It had gotten really hot outside. Summer had arrived and no clouds darkened the sky. I was excited for what the heat would bring.

I felt myself ruffle in oversized clothes. A big black shirt covered most of my body. It had short sleeves but they went down past my elbows. I was is his fluffy boxers and pajama pants. They had smelled like him, which made me happy. After hugging myself, I took a deep breath of his smell. He laughed at me, a small rosy color forming on his cheeks. I followed him downstairs, holding his hand.

Many of the maids were looking at us now. It made me uncomfortable but I tried to ignore them. Kale didn't notice, he mostly looked forward and occasionally glanced back at me. We walked into the dining room and were seated. Eggs and bacon had come on a silver lined plate, which had been eaten quickly.

Towards the end of our meal, Kale turned to me with a piece of bacon in his mouth. I hesitated at first, but began to lean in. I bit the piece had had been hanging out, lightly touching my lips against his. Quickly pulling away, I blushed towards the floor as I swallowed.

"Young master Kale?" A butler had popped his head in.

He walked into the room and came around to Kale's side, whispering into his ear. Kale looked pleased with the news and dismissed the butler. "What had he told you?" I asked.

"My friend is coming over."

We finished eating quickly and he ran off. I thanked the butler and hurried after him. By the time I arrived at his room, he was already dressed. I had no other clothes to change into and he told me not to worry. Ding Dong!

A butler opened the door as Kale rushed down the stairs. He was greeted by another male his age. This boy had tanned skin, that looked even darker to Kale's pale complexion. He had spiky brown hair and green eyes. One could say he was handsome, but he was nothing compared to Kale.

They hugged each other and began to scale the stairs. "Oh, look at this?" The friend had said.

"Oliver, this is Leo." Kale introduced him to me.

I forced a smile on my face, but I was a little jealous of how Kale was acting. Oliver came up to me and the first thing he did was tug at my ears. "A neko? I thought your father didn't believe in this kind of stuff."

Kale smiled and nodded in agreement. "And blonde hair with black ears? Is he a typo or something?"

Kale and Oliver walked off catching up, leaving me where I stood. I watched them awkwardly and didn't know what to do to myself.

As I looked around, I decided to explore. I haven't been here for so long, and I already took a look outside. In Kale's pajamas, I wandered through the halls. They were very quiet, no one talked to each other.

Old portraits hung on the elegant walls. Many men in military uniforms or rich suits looked as stern as the other. Each seemed to be staring at me. A chill ran down my spine. "What else can I do?" I said, exiting the grand hall, "Maybe I can go outside."

"Leo, wait up!"

A smile came across my face. I turned around only to find Oliver running after me. The smile disappeared just as I wished he would. "Leo," he said panting my name.

A big smile came across his face as he put a hand on the back of his head. "You wanna go out to dinner with us?"

Maybe I was over reacting. He did seem like a nice guy. My jealousy had gotten the better of me, even though I didn't want to admit it. "Sure," I said, forcing a smile on my face.

"Great!" Oliver laughed and grabbed my hand.

He began to run away, pulling me after him. "I'll help get you changed!"

I blushed. Only Kale talked to me like that, so I wasn't used to it. As we ran through the halls, I heard something that made me sick, "Gold digger."

I thought I was the only one, but Oliver heard it too. He had stopped running and walked up to the girl who said it. "What did you say?"

She looked flustered, a rich, handsome boy was talking to her. The maid denied what he claimed her to do an he slapped her. She was more surprised than hurt and watched Oliver walk back to me.

"Come on!" His anger turned back to silliness.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me back to the room. Kale wasn't in there but a change of clothes was. "I can get dressed myself." I told him.

"Don't worry," he said cheerfully, "I can help you! Besides, Kale said I could."

Blushing when I heard his name, I let Oliver pull off my shirt. When my head popped out from the top, I saw a twisted smile on his face. I took a step back and ended up tripping on a book.

I fell onto my back an propped myself up with my hands. "You are really well behaved." Oliver said as he came down to me.

He took my face in his hand, what the hell? I went to punch him but he caught my arm and twisted it behind my back, "Ow! Fff-" but I but my tongue.

"Did I speak too soon?" He said, biting my lip.

I felt myself get angry, but when I tried to move, Oliver twisted my arm tighter. I whimpered from the pain and he took that as a positive. His hand began to run up my stomach, pinching me ever so often. "Please..." I wanted to cry, "Stop."

Oliver's twisted smile grew eviler, I knew he wouldn't. The door began to jiggle and I was pushed deeper to the floor. Oliver got up and threw the shirt at me. Thank God, someone had come in. It was Kale.
