I was in turmoil for the night. Tossing and turning constantly began to infuriate me. I threw pillows at walls and ripped the sheets off the bed, only to find myself retrieving them later. What is happening to me? I only had a little bit of sleep. Every time I would dose off, my guilt would punch me in the stomach and refuse to let me relax. I only could lay in bed and think of the events that had passed.
As the sun rose into the sky, I began to roll around the room. With the phone pressed against my chest, I awaited Kale's call. This was how I started day 3.
With every hour passing, I felt worse and worse. Maybe he wouldn't call me, had he heard of what I had done? All of these ideas popped into my head, scaring me every minute Kale was gone. When the clock struck noon, the phone rang. I excitedly answered. "Leo?" His voice was like a breath of fresh air.
"Kale! When are you coming home?" I wanted to shout.
"Well, the business meeting should be done in a couple of days." He spoke with a sigh, "but I will return as soon as it is accepted."
"Okay," I was holding myself together.
Just a few more days, I can wait until then. Silence was filling the room. I couldn't speak anymore, my heart was too strained. "I miss you," Kale spoke softly.
My heart began to bleed out, figuratively speaking. "I miss you, too."
His tender voice drifted into the room as he said his parting. The rest of Kale's absence consisted of Oliver's abuse and I kept my mouth shut. After enduring the touches for so long, I finally felt as I would break down. Kale told me he would be back tomorrow, I would have to wait one more day.
Trying to stay out of the way, I hid out in the room. Making the mistake of feeling hungry, I ventured out for something to eat. Oliver wasted no time and pushed me to the floor. Tickling my skin, his fingers began to search my body for undiscovered treasure.
Tears flooded to my eyes and he began to laugh. "I know you like this, Leo."
"No, I don't." I tried to yell at him.
Oliver looked a little stunned at first but tightened his hold. "If you didn't, you would have said something. Or is Kale too valuable for you? Why don't you just run away?"
He was teasing me, but I took his words seriously. After kneeing him in the crotch, I ran to the door. It was like my life depended on it. As I opened the door, it felt as if I had run into a brick wall. It was Kale, he was home early.
To my surprise, I grabbed onto him and bawled. Oliver came running after me and found Kale at the door. Even though he tried to talk his way out of the situation, Oliver knew he was screwed. "Well, Leo is also at fault."
I froze at his words. He was putting blame on me. After sharing what had happened, Kale punched him several times. A massive, one sided fight broke out until Oliver ran away. I tried to grab back onto Kale, but he brushed me off. "I'm sorry, I just can't right now."
Watching him walk away, I felt sick. What had I done? Did I make a mistake? No, it is better he found out this way, right? Days seemed to pass before he even acknowledged me again. Kale definitely became colder.
To my surprise, he touched me after a week of distancing himself. I was so excited that he was seeing me, but I was wrong. After he 'took' me, Kale began to ignore me again. We had sex a few other times before I realized this wasn't what I thought it was. His touches were cold and no longer had any feeling to them.
Regretfully, these acts continued and began to happen more frequently. He no longer treated me gently. He no longer stayed away. When I want to kiss him, he would pushed me down an slam into me. What happened? Is that all I'm good for? When I try to talk to him, he refuses to listen. What am I supposed to do?
