He was shuffling books in his hands. Oliver tossed me the pair of pants too, "Here, Leo."

Kale didn't seem to notice what had happened, which made me feel even more sick. I picked up my clothes and entered the bathroom, checking twice that I locked the door.

I looked in the mirror, my open shirt revealing small red marks all over my body. I just wanted to cry, but not in front of Oliver. He would use that against me somehow.

As I finished dressing, a knock on the door came. Immediately, I opened it thinking it was Kale. Wrong again. He entered with a calm aura on him, but I was a little scared. "I'm sorry," he said.

What? Was I hearing correctly? I looked confused and sort of shook my head. "I was just testing something out, seeing if I was right."

"Right about what?" I said, my throat feeling soar.

"Seeing if Kale was protecting you like he should." A smooth attack came from his mouth, infuriating me.

"Of course he is!" I wanted to shout at him.

"Is he really?" Oliver said, a long pause following.

"Did he notice that the maids were spreading rumors about you? He didn't, did he?" I felt my heart hurt.

"And if you aren't using him, is he using you? Plus, his father never wanted a neko doll in his family. Maybe you are being used as defiance." Oliver said calmly, throwing ideas at me like bullets.

"No..." Was all I could say.

"No he isn't protecting you? Or no he isn't like that?" Oliver walked closer.

I began to feel dizzy and sat down against the wall. Oliver crouched in front of me. "Would it even be bad if I could take you? I was only here for thirty minutes and I knew what was happening." He said.

I couldn't speak anymore, I felt too sick. "Leo, don't cry."

Was I crying? I couldn't feel it, or maybe I could? Were tears really dripping down my face? I felt two fingers pull my chin up. Oliver smiled sweetly and brought his face closer to mine. My heart began to beat faster. What am I thinking? I want Kale, stop! I couldn't move my body or my mouth.

I felt his lips press against mine. Oliver didn't try to get anything else from the kiss, but it lasted six seconds. It felt like a long time, but when he parted, I was no longer crying.

"Don't worry, Leo. Finish getting ready and we will leave for dinner." Oliver patted me on the head and walked out the door.

Oh my God... "Oh my God..."

What was I doing? Why was I doing it? And to top it all off, why was I enjoying it?! I stood up and trembled out the door. As I turned and headed towards the stairs, I noticed them both leaving Kale's room. Oliver looked at me and winked. I felt my face get hot and I looked down.

I followed them out, keeping an appropriate distance. Usually, I would have latched onto Kale's clothing or arm, but I couldn't right now. We walked down the street, the sun was just beginning to set. "Look, Leo," Kale said, "all those shades of pink."

We all stopped and watched, it really was pretty. I, however, struggled to focus. Oliver began to walk again, breaking up the awkward scene. I waited for Kale to walk ahead but he came to me. Slowly, he grabbed my hand. I looked up at his face and he was trying not to let me see him blush.

I grabbed his hand back and we walked after Oliver. I turned out to be in the middle of their conversation, literally. Oliver took the left side, which was left open. I had no idea what I was supposed to do, so I glanced at both of them.

They seemed so much taller than me. I was at their shoulders, but if I held my ears up, then I would be at their chins. Oliver and Kale were skinny, but muscular. I looked around and saw girls staring everywhere. They didn't notice, though.

"Hey," Oliver said enthusiastically, "Let's get some sushi!"

Kale agreed, and I was happy with it too. They were very different from each other. Kale was more of an introvert. He was shy and tried not to share his feelings with me, as if he was protecting me from them. But he was also demanding at some things. When he wanted something, he was gonna make sure he got it.

Oliver was like that too. But on the other hand, was an extrovert, always wanting to be the center of attention. At first, it pissed me off, but I can sort of see why they get along. Opposites attract, right?

Oliver had been doing all the talking and Kale and I just listened. It was weird for all these conversation to be held. Kale and I didn't speak too much small talk to each other. It was more like questions and commands, which pleased me more.

"Oh, isn't this place good?" Oliver changed subjects again.

"Yes," Kale answered.

As we walked through the door, Kale let go of my hand. He pushed me in before him. He whispered, "I don't want you to get stolen." In my ear.

My face got hot as I followed Oliver to the seats. We ended up eating a lot. I was very full towards the end of dinner and I fell onto Kale's arm. "Are you tired already?" He said with a laugh.

Kale draped his arm over my side so I wouldn't fall off my chair. I glanced over at Oliver and he was looking at me with an upset face. As quickly as I could, I broke eye contact and buried my face into Kale's side. Soon, everything went black.

My eyes were closed, but I was aware of what was going on. I took a deep breath in. Kale's sent filled me with happiness. He was giving me a piggyback home and my head was resting on his shoulder.

I couldn't stop my smile from spreading on my face. As long as Kale was with me, I didn't care what people thought. I could handle the stupid maids and the dumb friends, I just wanted Kale.

I was in and out of sleep, but I knew when we got home. Kale laid me in bed and tucked me in. "Kale?" I whispered softly.

"Yes?" He said, sitting next to me on the bed.

I hesitated for a second, but stumbled on my words. "Will you k-kiss m-me?" I felt myself get queazy, maybe I shouldn't have asked.

His thumb traced my lips. It made me unable to wait, I just wanted him to hold me. The slower he got, the faster my heart pounced in my chest. I felt his lite breathing on my lips before they touched.

I had been holding my breath, waiting for him to kiss me. Would it get deeper like I wanted it to? He softly bit my bottom lip before pulling away. Then, he walked out the door and shut it quietly.

I began to smile. Softly touching my lips, I was careful not to wipe him away. All of a sudden, I realized. Oliver had bit my lip too. Should I tell Kale? He would just get upset... What am I to do?
