Let it Go and Move On
There are only three of us now. I'm torn with who to be an ally.
Spellweaver had a point, whilst I can't put myself to believe her words.
Logic, being himself, can't assume her words to be true, yet, it sounds too real to be true.
I am the Guardian of Truth, hence my name, but why can't I decide which one is factual?! What shall I choose?!
~Truth
It had been a week since that fateful event happened. The remaining Courtroomteers decided to call it quits, she had already given them a hard time. Though the decision was hard, everyone agreed, rather, it was a unanimous decision. They were only three people left, which means there will be no ties to this compromise that happened between them.
Spellweaver was the one who orchestrated the whole agreement. Using her own argument and reasoning, she managed to state every "betrayal" Perfection caused for days, starting from her take off from the headquarters. Spellweaver made sure to list every action her former comrade did to further support the reasoning. She made sure to leave no inconsistencies if anyone would try to object to her.
Meanwhile, Logic only listened to his sister. It was hard for his part to accept all her words for some of it rang truth in them. He made sure to object to some of her statements though, Spellweaver already stood her ground so, she refuted every possible argument. This left him in the dark, not knowing what to do anymore. He had no more counterarguments, Spellweaver won.
"It has been decided. We'll forfeit this wild goose chase."
That is the reason why the three of them went back to the headquarters. Their captain was astonished to see them return for he heard that they left to go and fetch Perfection.
"You are back?"
"Yes, Captain." Spellweaver answered, pushing past him.
Truth trailed behind the two, leaving him the last one to enter the headquarters. Captain Courtroom stopped him from his tracks, eager to know more of the reason as to why their sudden return. The two walked to a private quarters and started their conversation.
"Truth, what has transpired?"
"Sir..." Truth began although, he couldn't form the words.
"It's not like for my heroes to return from such mission, especially if it's unfinished."
Truth waited for the right time to tell him what he heard from Spellweaver's lips. He was afraid to know of the Captain's reaction upon hearing a grave accusation yet, he pushed along with it. Indicting Perfection of betrayal hasn't thoroughly sank into his system and so, he sounded unsure upon saying the words,
"Perfection...has betrayed us."
The Captain's expression changed into pure shock, he even set his gavel down on a nearby table. His eyes wandered over to his subordinate, asking if it was real.
"Yes...it's true."
"Truth!" He scolded, which made Truth jump. "Don't you know you're making a grave allegation against your very own comrade?!"
"Perfection is no longer one of us, that I can say, sir." Truth swiftly left the room and headed straight to his room. He knew that it was wrong to accuse her of betrayal but with the circumstantial statements and evidence Spellweaver presented, it was enough to drive him into a corner and accuse Perfection of deception.

No missions happened during their return to the headquarters. This made everyone feel bored during the course of their stay. Spellweaver decided to pay a visit to the city and unwind. She still needed to clear her mind through it all. The accusation she made slowly ate her mind, making her feel guilty of the whole thing. Spellweaver convinced herself that what her former superior did was pure betrayal.
Before making her way towards the city, she changed herself into her normal form. It had been so long since she was in the form of Michiko, the rollerblader. She felt a new beginning in her system when she transformed back to her old self.
Putting on her skates, she finally entered the city, taking in the cool breeze of it. The streets were crowded with people due to an immense amount of store that held up an auction.
---
She felt someone grasp her arm. Their grip was too firm, it showed signs of not wanting to let go. Perfection was stunned for her eyes met someone who was too familiar to ever forget.
"L-Logic?!"
He had a blank stare at her, as if he wasn't sure if what he's doing is right. He couldn't help it anymore, he wanted, no, needed to see her again. He saw tears well up in her eyes as she avoided his piercing gaze at her.
"W-What are you doing here?!" She demanded, looking down to her feet.
"What reason is there to tell you as to why I'm here?"
"I betrayed all of you!" She yelled, "What kind of person will ever accept a betrayer?!"
Silence.
"Let them label you that but I don't believe you are." He sighed and released his grip, adding more to his statement. "You haven't betrayed anyone. If you did, you would have ran away as soon as I had let go of your arm."
Perfection gasped at his words. After all this time...
"You still trust me?"
She couldn't quite speculate this herself. After all the running and hiding she did, there was still someone that believed and trusted her own "selfishness". Figuratively, he stood by her side, not wanting to leave her be to whatever thing she wanted to do.
"I still do. My trust in you never once run out."
He touched lips with hers. He missed all those days when both of them will hold each other when one felt despair come over them. She also did miss it, after all, it was a long time ago that this last happened. Perfection couldn't resist this temptation anymore so, she kissed back with much need.
Even if she was too far from them, he still managed to find her after a week. Logic definitely worked hard to find her, no matter what the cost. He may have betrayed his sister now yet he didn't care. Screw that argument for the both of them never agreed on such truce.
"Tell me why you did this."
Perfection reluctantly took the notebook she found and handed it over to Logic. He scanned its contents, making sure to get all the facts straight.
"There are blank pages..."
"That's because it's some sort of magic notebook that reveals its hidden entries when I stumble upon an important clue." She explained.
Something had caught his eye and so, Logic never at once, hesitated to ask her of it. Fear clung onto him, he feared that her next statement would be something that is groundbreaking.
"I have a secret." Her eyes met his, "A deep...dark secret that I must know."
