Hello there, just some notes before I start.

I think you need some pills for this...or maybe not XD

Also, this'll just be a filler kind of chapter so it may be somehow, boring or...maybe not, it depends how wild my imagination (and writing instinct) is running today XD

Writhing in Pure Darkness

I can feel something ominous that is to happen when its found out. I don't know why but, I'm terrified of it. I couldn't bear thinking of it anymore. Just the thought of it makes me wince.

~Spellweaver

"Hmm..."

Spellweaver was busy with tinkering her Cyphodex. She was trying to get new information in the trail they're following yet, it displayed nothing. They were all certain that they were taking the path that Perfection did although, there is one problem.

"Cyphodex can't detect any trace of Perfection in this trail!"

"How can it not see it?"

Spellweaver scrolled in an imaginary board, reading the possible answers to their question.

"It's either we're on the wrong path or," She scrolled further, "Perfection is behind us. Meaning...we're ahead of her tracks."

"How can we be ahead of her?" Truth wondered, looking over the Cyphodex. Spellweaver only exchanged an unknowing look, indicating that she has no idea of it, whatsoever.

"There's a high chance that she knew that we'll take her path and so, she went another route." Logic said, analyzing the situation.

"That might be probable."

"Also, the second option may seem to be plausible, for my case."

"For your case?" Spellweaver snapped the Cyphodex shut, magically disappearing into the air. She immediately got curious as to what her brother was talking about.

"I received a message, just before the two of you got into a battle." He revealed, facing Spellweaver.

"Telepathy?" Spellweaver questioned, that was the only way she could think of, after all, Spellweaver and Truth aren't capable of using telepathy, that is why, they were the ones who only got the bottled messages. Furthermore, at that time, Perfection was only labelled as the 'Mysterious Person', hence, she couldn't blow her cover by using telepathy to send Logic the messages that she wrote on the parchments she threw in the bottles.

"That's right, a telepathic message."

Her eyebrows scrunched together, forming a serious expression. Spellweaver thought hard in this. Her mind also reenacted the events, although it wasn't clear so she brought out her Cyphodex again and made models.

Once finished, she snapped it shut again yet she didn't make it disappear this time. She had a plan now, yet it was kind of risky.

"What if I fly up? That way, I could scan the parameters to determine what path she took." Spellweaver suggested, already floating one foot off the ground.

"But that would be much too dangerous!" Truth retorted, getting a hold of her wrist.

"I'll take care of myself." She sent a reassuring grin that faltered upon saying another words, "I'll try though."

"Take care of yourself up there. I'm going to at least defend you with my telepathy."

Spellweaver started to fly up, just above the leaves and heads of the hundreds of oak trees in the woods. "Cyphodex, scan the area around us. Find the path that Perfection took."
