Promposal

What's a promposal you ask? Well it's almost like a marriage proposal but rather than asking the person to marry you, you ask them to go to Prom with you.

Over the past month they have been occurring almost every minute due to prom being so close by. Louis had expected his boyfriend of three years to have asked him already but he hasn't. It was really starting to worry him because what if Harry didn't want to be in a relationship with him anymore.

Arms wrapping around his waist made Louis snap out of his thoughts. He wrapped his arms around Harry and squeezed tightly. When they separated Louis looked at Harry's eyes in awe. They were so beautiful just like his face.

"Hello my love. How was your day?" Harry asked happily taking Louis' tiny hand in his own.

"It was alright." Louis sighed. He loved school but he was all stressed out with his insecurity of not being good enough for Harry. Harry eyed Louis knowingly. He can detect Louis' emotions very easily.

"Alright quit the act what's wrong?" Harry asked opening the door to the car right after leaving the school building. They both got in and Louis debated in his head over whether or not he should say the truth.

"Nothing I'm fine."

"No you're not." Harry said turning on the car and pulling out of the parking space. "Tell me I don't like to see you like this." Louis covered his face with his hands thinking of what to say. Should he say the truth?

"Harry do you love me?" Louis asked. In that moment Harry slammed on the break making both their bodies jerk forward. The cars behind them honked their horns but Harry could care less. Harry pulled over unbuckled his seatbelt and turned toward Louis.

"No. You are not doing this again. You are not going back to thinking that way. I won't allow it. Louis I love you with all my heart. I love you more than anything in the world and I will protect you at all costs. I would give up my life for you. I love you baby. No doubt about it. So please stop thinking that way." Harry said. Louis' eyes clouded in tears from all the emotions he was feeling.

"I love you too Harry." Louis stated taking his seatbelt off and moving to straddle Harry. He wrapped his arms around Harry's neck and buried his head in the crook of his neck. Harry hugged back kissing Louis' head. Harry rubbed Louis' back bot like the tears that were flowing down the smaller boys face.

"Baby what made you think I didn't love you?"

Louis shook his head with a humorless laugh and said, "You didn't ask me to Prom." Harry laughed and pulled back from the embrace to peck Louis on the lips.

"Babe I don't need to ask I assumed you already knew that since you're mine you would be my date." Harry said while Louis pouted. He had expected Harry to be planning something big.

"Oh. So you didn't plan anything big?"

"Well there is this romantic lunch that is set up at my house but it was kind of delayed."

"Really?"

"Of course love. I try to appreciate you in every way possible."
