The Dragon Empress (Un-edited ver)

Part 10

We walked out to the car and drove to the restaurant, Maggiano's. I got a salad and he got a sandwich, we sat outside, it was a beautiful day outside, we sat down at our table. And we were eating our food when we heard two familiar voices "How is your food?" one of the voices said. "It's very good." The other said. I looked over and there sat Madoka and Gingka. "i'll be right back," I whispered to Ryuga with a smirk. He gave me a confused look and I pointed to Gingka and Madoka, Ryuga smirked back at me and nodded. I tiptoed over to their table, and interrupted their conversation by saying "So... how's the date?" "Ah!" Madoka squealed and jumped up. Gingka also jumped a good two feet in the air along with his hamburger. "Hahaha!" I laughed "Madeline!" they both yelled at the same time. "Did I scare you guys?" I asked still laughing. "Yes! What are you doing here?" Gingka asked. "Ryuga is taking me out today, and we were eating when I heard you two." I said with a smile, "Well I got to go, Ryuga is waiting for me, but good seeing you guys!" "Ryuga is here?" Madoka asked, "yea he is," I said pointing to my table. I could he the smile on Ryuga's face, seeing the scene he must have laughed. "Ok well have fun on the rest of your date." Madoka told me. "Yea have fun." Gingka added. I smiled, "Thank you guys, you enjoys the rest of yours, sorry for interrupting." they both nodded "We will, thanks and no problem, I am sure that was a sight to see."

I walked back to our table, "That was hilarious." Ryuga remarked, "Yes, yes it was." I said laughing. "Gingka jumped so high!" We were both laughing.

We finished with our food and got in the car. We drove for a little, and we reached a cliff. He got out and reached for my hand, telling me to join him, I took it, and he lead me to a bench. We sat down and he pulled me close, I snuggled into his chest but he made me look at him, I looked into his beautiful golden eyes, our faces grew closer until they were almost touching, "Madeline, you are my dragon empress, and I love you." he whispered right before kissing me, I closed my eyes, put my arms around his neck, and kissed back, it had been a long time since I have been in his arms, feeling his lips against mine. We pulled away, but he went in again and kissed me harder this time. "R-Ryuga?" I asked when we pulled away for the second time, he looked at me with his soft eyes, "Yes Madeline?" "I-I love it when you kiss me." I confessed, my face red, and he leaned in and our lips met once again. "Ryuga and Madi, sittin in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G" We both Jumped. We did not get that kiss hardly at all. It was Yu, and a big smile was on his face, "Haha, you two were kissing!" He exclaimed with a laugh. "Yu!" We said together, "Doji wants you back Ryuga, he said to get training for tomorrow," Yu told Ryuga. "Yu, we are in the middle of a date, can you go back to headquarters and tell Doji that please, battle bladers I know starts tomorrow, but Doji does not rule me and my life, I have not taken Madeline out in a while, so I am now." Ryuga was annoyed, and so was I, we were in the middle of kissing, and I wanted this night to continue on, I loved being wrapped in his arms, enjoying each other's kiss. I snuggled into Ryuga's chest, faking being sad, he stroked my hair. "All right i'll tell him, but if he comes here it's not my fault." Yu told us and ran off. "Can we try that again?" Ryuga asked me, his hand on my cheek and his eyes adventurous, "Absolutely." I replied. And our kiss was passionate, his hand moved to the back of my head, to pull me closer to his lips, and our other hands interlaced.

We were talking, kissing, laughing and snuggling the rest of the date, every stop light he would kiss me again. And when we got back to headquarters, he gave me one more passionate kiss, it lasted and I loved it.

I woke up in a cold sweat, I was afraid, and in pain. I started having nightmares again, and when ever I did my scars would start hurting. I wanted to go see Ryuga, but I did not want to disturb his sleep, so I got up and started pacing, and crying. I hated the nightmares that I kept having. "Ugg thats it," I said, and walked over to Ryuga's room, I knocked lightly, if he was asleep I did not want to wake him. But he came and opened, and his face was concerned, "Madeline, are you ok?" "No. I keep having nightmares. They terrify me, and make my scars hurt, I am in pain. I am sorry, I just didn't know what to do, I must have woken you." I trembled. "Oh, come in, are you ok? tell me the dream. You did not wake me, and even if you did, I would be fine. Please come in." he opened the door for me, and I stepped in and was immediately embraced, his bare chest was warm. "Madi, can you tell me the dream?" I nodded, "It was about me getting killed, I-I was whipped until I was almost dead, you were there although you could not help, for some reason you could not find me. After I was whipped almost to death, I was thrown down and the man who was whipping me went away, I thought it was over but I was wrong, another man came and started kicking me, until I died." I was crying, and just repeating the horrid dream made me afraid and it made my scars hurt more, "Ryuga I am so scared, what if that dream comes true? What-what what if?" I was sobbing by now and I felt bad for making Ryuga endure this. "Oh Madeline, that is just, ugg. I will make sure that that will never happen, and I will not let go of you tonight, I will keep you in my arms, even if that mean no sleep." "But Ryuga, you need sleep." "No, not if you can't sleep, not if you are terrified, and not if you are in pain, I care so much about you. Madeline," he took my hands in his, "Madeline, I promise to be there when you need me, I promise to hug you tight when you're lonely, I promise to wipe your tears when they fall and I promise to keep you, not for the rest of my life, but for the rest of yours because you are my everything." (This is a actual quote or something I just thought it was adorable and decided that this was a good time to use it.) Hearing those words come from his mouth made me cry more, he had told me he loved me so many times, but this I felt was more meaningful. We went and sat down on his bed, and he stroked my hair, "I promise." He kept repeating, and eventually I calmed down.
