Part 19

Ryuga's POV

There was this new kid I didn't really like him, he was too energetic, I think his name is Masamune Kadoya, he has a big ego and thinks very highly of himself and is annoying as heck.

"I love you Madeline... and I am so sorry, I feel so bad. You are everything to me, and i can't live without you." I said right before I fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning with Madeline in my arms, she was snuggling in my chest, she had her eyes closed but she had a small smile on her face so I knew she was awake. I pulled her closer to my body, and kissed her cheek, I saw her eyes open, "Good morning, my beautiful empress, how did you sleep?" I asked her. She smiled, I knew she loved it when I called her my empress, "Good morning, my handsome emperor, I slept well, thank you. How about you?" "I also slept well, thank you." I kissed her head, "I am so glad I am here with you, and not in that apartment!" she told me, "I am too, I missed you..." "You did?" "Yes I did, I just didn't realise it, till almost too late..." I lightly kissed her soft lips, "I love you Madeline," she blushed and smiled, "I love you too Ryuga." this time she kissed me. After we pulled away, I looked at the time, "they will be here soon... do you have any blush?" "Yes... why?" "I want to make it look like I have been crying," "Ah smart! Where will I go?" "I don't know, somewhere no one will look..." "Well I could hide in the closet in my room..." "I hate for you to..." "it's fine, as long as they think I am dead." "Ok, can you grab the blush please?" "Yea let me get it," she got up and got it for me, I dabbed a little under my eyes, and put drops in my eyes, to make it seem like I was crying, "I love you Madeline, I will come get you when they leave, ok?" "Ok, I love you too! You look so sad!" "Well that's good, alright they should be here any minute." she nodded, hugged me and went into the closet.

"Ryuga we are here!" I heard Gingka yell, I got back into my bed, and pushed the thoughts of Madeline being dead into my mind, they walked into my room, "Ryuga, how are you today?" "I am miserable." I made myself mumble out of the fake sadness, I truly looked sad and I hoped they would by it. "Why miserable?" I sat up and grabbed my phone, opened Madeline's text and read it to them, "this is why... 'Dear Ryuga, you have made me feel so loved, I just want to tell you that I love you and goodbye, I have decided to kill myself, I don't have anyone to turn to for help, I have fallen into depression. Don't try to stop me, there is nothing else for me. I will see you in heaven my friend. Love-Madeline.'" they gasped, and I just stared blankly, "Madeline-she is dead?!" Madoka asked. I just nodded, and thanked God that she wasn't. "That is terrible! Do-do you know h-how?" Madoka spoke, i thought a little, "She jumped off a cliff, I I'm pretty sure of this because I knew she-she loved a certain spot on a cliff I used to take her to..." they nodded, "Is there anything we can do for you?" "No... I don't think so, I just want to be alone for a little, you can come again later or something..." I replied sadly, "what are you going to do?" "I don't know, I just don't want to think about Madeline being dead, I will be honest I miss her... she brought me love that I haven't felt ever since I was taken from my village, and now I know I won't feel that love ever again..." I told them, "After what she did to you, you miss her?" they asked surprised, "Yes, I do. Let me guess, you guys still don't like her... I did worse to her." "well, yea, I know it sounds mean, but she was always getting hurt." "It may have been, but she said it was Len's fault, he was the one who kissed her, not the other way around." "hmm you believe that? you do know Len Kagamine was her celebrity crush." "Right." I was thinking on this, but it did not change my feelings for Madeline, I still loved her. "Do you still want to be alone?" "Yeah, I just need some time to think." "Ok we will leave." "Thank you," they walked out, I couldn't believe that they still hated Madeline, it was just heartless, she was dead to them, and they didn't care, that made me mad.

I walked to Madeline's room to get her out of the closet, I opened the door and she was sitting on the floor, she looked up at me and smiled, "Hello! How can I help you?" she asked with a laugh, when we were younger back at the village, we would play hide and seek and she would always hide in the closet, and when I found her she would pretend that she was someone else. "Hello yes, I am looking for my dragon empress, have you seen her?" I smiled back at her, "hmm yes I have, come closer, and I will tell you!" I leaned in and she whispered in my ear, "I miss the old days when we would play hide and seek." "Me too, we would always have so much fun!" she gave a big smile and got out of the closet, "Hey I have an idea!" I exclaimed, "Since it is just us for the day, why don't we play hide and seek!" her eyes grew wide, "Yes let's do it!" she got excited, "Ok, rock, paper, scissors to find out who will hide and who will seek, she nodded and stuck out her hand, "Rock... Paper... Scissors, shoot!" she threw out paper, and I was rock... "dang it I wanted to seek!" I said like I was a little kid, "haha! Ok go hide!" "Ok..." "One... two... three... four..." she started counting, hmm where should I hide? I wasn't small like her so I would need to be sneaky, I tiptoed into the living room, and got under some pillows on the couch, "60! Ready or not here I come!" I heard her yell. "Ryuga!" she called after a few minutes, "come out come out wherever you are!" it felt like we were six again, "Hmm I wonder where he is..." She sat on the couch, right where I was, and looked down at me, "Hello, Mr, Dragon emperor, I have found you!" I sat up "Yes you did! Good job," I sat up, and kissed her. She blushed, "Oh I am having so much fun, we haven't done this since we were like seven!, Ok it's my turn to hide, good luck finding me!" she exclaimed excitedly, and ran off. "One ... two... three..." i began counting "...59... 60! Ready or not here i come!" I started off, my first place I looked was in all the closets, she was not there, "Madi!" I called and went into her bedroom, I looked under the bed, she was not there, I looked in the bathroom, she was not there, I looked in the kitchen, she was also not there. I went into my bedroom, and looked in my nightstand cabinet, I didn't have anything in there, "Hello Madeline, I have finally found you!" I said, she was quite squished in there "Haha, took you long enough! I didn't know I was this small! I should just hide here when the others come visit! Then I could stalk all of you hehe!" "Haha, you are so cute," "humph no I am not!" she said with a pouty face, "yes you are." I said tapping her nose, she gave a cute smile and got out, "ah it was tight in there, ok, i'll count!" We played hide and seek for a while, ate lunch, and chilled on the couch. "Madeline want to watch a movie? We still have two hours before they come again." I asked while we were eating a snack. "Yea, what do you wanna watch?" "How about I let you pick," "No I want you to pick, surprise me!!" "Ok, Oh I have a idea, you can agree or disagree, but how about we do a starwars marathon! We can take a break in between movies." I said, I knew her, and she and I were both big star wars fans, "Oh I love that idea! Let's do it!" I got up, made some popcorn, put in the first movie, and sat down. She snuggled into my chest, we had a lot of fun today, and we still had six movies to watch. "Ryuga, I have had a great time today with you... I've felt six again, and I have felt loved, thank you." she said, giving me a kiss on my cheek, "you are so welcome, I had a great time today too, we have not played hide and seek in a while, and I am so glad you feel loved, because I love you." I told her, she wrapped her arms around me, hugging me. "I love you to, so much and I am sorry for trying to kill myself, I just didn't know what else to do... But I am here now!" "Madeline..." I brought her lips right up to mine, but not touching, "you are my empress and I love you," I whispered and kissed her. "And you are my emperor." she responded and kissed me once more. The first movie was over, and Gingka and Madoka and some others would be coming soon, "Ok so are you going to stay in the closet?" I asked her "Well could I stay in your nightstand?" she asked me with a smile, "Sure if you want, but it's kinda squished in there..." "I will be ok, besides I want to hear your conversations!" her smile changed into a smirk, and I just rolled my eyes, "Ok, if you want to, but I can't guarantee that you will be pleased when you come out." I warned her, they still didn't like her, and since they just found out Madeline 'died' everyone was probably going to come, and I didn't want Madeline to hear them dissing her, "Ok, I understand, it might be hard, and you will also need to be more 'sad' this time, I can help you." I nodded and got ready, Madeline helped put more blush under my eyes, and eye drops in. "Ryuga you look like you have been crying!" she said, I couldn't tell if her emotion was sadness or excitement, maybe it was a mix of both. "Alright, I look good or sad or whatever." I nodded to myself in the mirror, "thank you Madeline." I looked out the window, everyone was arriving, "Ok, Madeline I love you, you need to hide now!" I kissed her head, and she got in her cabinet, it was spacious enough that she can sit in it without touching the door. I closed it.
