Nick sighed softly as he gently got up from his bed. Today was the big day... Heaven only knew who would win. He went to the clock out in the small hallway to see it was only 9 in the morning. The case wasn't until 1 in the afternoon.
With a heavy sigh, Nick went to his small kitchen to prepare some breakfast. Rose peeked up from behind the small table. "Hi Uncle Nicky!" She smiled brightly. "Morning..." Nick yawned out. He grabbed two bowls of cereal and poured some cereal and milk in them. He yawned and rubbed his eyes, putting two forks down. "Eat up, honey..."
Rose laughed. "Uncle, you are so silly!!"
Nick yawned and rested his head on the table. "How so?"
"You don't eat cereal with a fork!" Rose was a giggling mess.
"...." Nick realized his mistake. He sat up. "Guess I'm more tired than what I seem...." He smiled softly. "And you can eat cereal with a fork."
"How?" Rose looked up at him, now intrigued.
"Like this." Nick grabbed his fork and put the prongs through the small holes of the bits of cereal. He ate it and smiled. "See?"
Rose's eyes lit up in wonder and excitement. "Whoa, that's amazing!!" She started to try and grab the cereal with her fork. Bradley, now two weeks old, walked up to Nick. He sat loyally next to him, his tail wagging. Nick gently pet his head.
"... Uncle Nicky?" Nick looked up to her. "Yes?"
"School starts next Monday...who's going to take me?" Nick mentally slapped himself. He completely forgot about school. "I'll ask Gatsby to help with that." Rose nodded. "But today, we have to go to the city." Rose looked up at him, fork filled with cereal. "Why?" "Because me, Gatsby, Draven, you, and Draven's... friend, I believe.... are going to go to a building to see your father. I can't keep you with any friends so... you have to go with us." Rose nodded understandingly. "So finish your cereal. We have to leave soon." Rose nodded and did as told.
Nick sighed softly and went to take a shower. He needed to take his mind off everything...

Gatsby sighed as he put his shoes on, a deep sinking feeling going into his gut. He knew this wouldn't end well.... "Samuel." Sam looked up. "I'll be gone for today. Tell everyone to take the day off." Sam did as told. Gatsby sighed and walked to Nick's.

"Draven..." Draven groaned and turned his back to Klaus. Klaus huffed and got up. "Baaaaaaaaaaaaaabe." Draven groaned softly and sleepily opened his eyes. "What..." "We have to get dressed. We need to help your friend with his case. Or at least keep watch of him..." Draven sighed softly and nodded. "Alright..." He got up and went to get dressed.
Klaus sighed and took out his notebook, writing in it.
'The air whipped around them, making their ears hear hollow, repeating whooshes. They neared their dreaded destination, each ones hearts growing with fear in what would occur. With heavy souls, they looked up and realized they were there... who knew...'

Nick and the others walked up to the courthouse, each saying some sort of prayer or wish to come true. Nick and Gatsby walked to the front seats on the left side. Gatsby held Rose close in his arms, hugging onto her as they both sat down. The jury was already there, listening to a radio with the judge and the security guards there.
