Ch. 84 Training Schedule

(Meadow's POV)

After the date incident, we had a bunch more training to do, especially if I needed to reach my full potential.

We were doing something different where I would get a schedule to follow, so it would be easier for me. Today was combat training with Kai and Flare.

But it wasn't going as planned......

"You need to put your arms higher." I did what Kai said for me to do.

"No, it's her stance! She needs it to be lowered! Put your arms back." I did what Flare said.

"Um.....our session was supposed to end 15 minutes ago."

"I'm telling you, she. Needs. Her. Arms. To. Be. Higher." He pulled my arms up again, making me wince in pain.

"No! Her. Stance. Needs. To. Be. Lower!" She pushed my shoulders down.

"Um.......can we just have an agreement please......?" I squeaked. They didn't seem to hear.

"Higher arms!"

"Lower stance!"

"Soooooo.........I'm just gonna go now......" I left to my next session.

"Hey, Cole. Sorry I'm late, Flare and Kai started arguing.......again." I sighed walking onto the deck.

"Eh, you get used to it eventually. But now it's time for some physical fitness." That's what he calls it, but I call it stretch exercises.

"Stop talking out loud, it'll get you in trouble someday. Plus I hated it too, but it helped reach my full potential." He said, changing the stretch.

"Why are we doing stretches second? Shouldn't I have done it first?" He just shrugged.

"Lloyd's the one who made the schedule." Oh of course. I mentally facepalm.

Whenever the Senseis are out,  Lloyd has to lead. Honestly, he was terrible at it. Being the leader of the team was easy, but being the sensei was another story. Lloyd seemed to always get so intimidated by this. He would do a bad job of trying to be like Sensei Wu then it would affect the ninja negatively......

I sighed, here I am stuck doing stretches instead of reading.......

Next was mind control with Zane and Crystal in Sensei's room.

"It took me a while to get this, but it gets easier." Crystal said getting on a mat, sitting crossed legged next to Zane.

"Just clear your mind from all thoughts, feel your element deep within you, then let it fill your heart." Zane said.

I tried to do what he said, but all that happened was my bubble.

"Aw man.....oh well, at least I got a thicker bubble........" I sighed tapping on it from the inside. There was no way I was going to reach my full potential now......

"That's alright Meadow, you don't need to push yourself too hard. We'll have a small break and then go back to simple meditation." Zane smiled. How is he able to do that? I respect him so much......

Yet after my 5 minute break of reading new techniques, we got back to try again.

Again another fail.......

I walked into Tylor, Midnight, Nya and Clare's "class". They were helping me with finding stuff about my past.

"Have you been getting any visions recently?" Clare asked me, while Nya attached wires from the computer to me. I shook my head.

"None, now that you mentioned it, I haven't gotten any of them in a long time." I sighed.

"I've been looking into your head, but I can't see anything from your past other than what you've already seen." Tylor sighed.

Back to the drawing board......

I sighed before walking back onto the deck for Jay's training: more so on my endurance level, more fighting training.

(Since Jay's the lightning ninja and is so energetic.)

"Hey Jay...........sorry for having to come late, it's hard keeping up with this new schedule........" I yawn, tiredly.

"Don't worry I'll lift your spirits! With my high spirit!" He smiled.

"You seem a lot more cheerful than usual today. Did something happen?" I asked, getting into a few fighting stance.

"Actually yeah! You remember Griffin, Right?" He tried tackling me, but I dodge him.

"How could I forget?" I landed a blow to his side.

"Well, he asked me to come to his next track meet! It's the last one of the year and I get to see him win! Me! In live action!" He must really be obsessed with this guy........(he's not gay for him don't worry he just really wants to be friends with Griffin (#jole))

"That's great news Jay. Even if he can be a little nosy......." I mumbled that last part, catching a blow from Jay's fist. He heard either way though.......

"WHAT?!" he almost made me deaf.

"Sorry, but well.......um........he constantly asking me if I crush on Lloyd, or if we're dating, especially about my ears and tail. Usually that. I like him for being himself, but Griffin's just trying too hard to be 'cool' that he's not acting like himself. Just think about if this is a true friendship or not." His expression softened. Then he got out of his stance.

"I guess you're right. Even I'm not acting like myself, trying to get him to like me for someone I'm not....."  he sighed and looked more glum.

"Sorry, Jay........"

"It's fine.......wait........you know what? I'm going to show him the real me. And if he doesn't like me, then I can be friends with Cole.(#Jole)" He shot out little sparks of electricity to show how joyful he was now.

"Thanks Meadow!!!!" He ran out.

"Wait what about our lesson?!" I called after him. Oh well.......
