My somewhat poetic & lyrical rants!

I miss you

I miss you,

More than you'll ever know!

I know you're happy now,

That you're peace,

That you're no longer in pain,

 But I just can't help wishing you were still here.

 There's so many things I wish I could pick up the phone to call & tell you about!

So many times I could site & talk with you,

So many things that remind me of you!

I miss you!

I miss you!

You were more than family,

You were one of my closest friends!

I went to your house the other day,

& so many memories started to play!

I miss you!

I wish you were here!

I wish you could see me graduate!

I wish you could see me get married!

I wish my future childern could have met you!

Now I'll just have to wait,

until the day we meet again!

But as for now,

I'll be happy knowing that you're watching over me!

I still miss you,

I always will,

but I'll be okay!

I'm going make you proud,

grow up to be the women I know you'd hope I'd become!

But until the day we meet again,

I'll miss you!

This poem is for my nanny, who died in February. She was not only my Nanny, but one of my closest & most trusted friends! I miss her a lot, but she's happy now! I know one day I'll see her & my granddaddy again! This was just me expressing how I feel, & maybe it'll help someone else! Thanks for reading, Shadow:)
