I starred out the window. Rick n em was on a mission so it was only me and Tasha alone.

"Lei..." Tasha said softly.

I looked at her then rubbed my stomach...my now empty stomach.

"Yeah?"

"You want some pizza I ordered some, I might be a fat ass but I can't eat it alone"

I smiled but shook my head.

"I'm good"

She sighed.

"Common lil Lei you gotta eat, Rick and Mama G will be mad at me if they knew you wasn't eating" 

I took a slice of pizza from the box she was holding and took a bite.

"You know I love you like a little sister" She said putting the box on the bed as she sat down beside me.

I nodded and continued to eat. I'm not gonna lie I am crazy hungry.

"You know, maybe God has another trick up his sleeve, maybe he thought yall wern't ready for that commitment yet"

I nodded.

"Maybe he just showing me signs that me and Heartless are just not meant to be" I finally said shaking my head.

I was honestly heart broken. 

"I'm not gonna say your lying and I'm not gonna say your right, only time will tell" She said rubbing my back.

I smiled at her and nodded.

I starred out the window thinking about nothing in particular.

"You been quiet this whole trip homie, you good?" Hakeem asked causing the rest of the guys to look at me.

"Yeah" I mumbled.

Honestly...I was broken, call me soft but I was. I never wanted her to loose the baby, that's some bullshit man, honestly once we land Ima make everything right.

"Iyte bro..." Chris said handing me a glass of champagne.

I chuckled lightly.

"Cheers"

We all clinked our glasses together.

"Your back" Ashanti said kissing on me but I pushed her off. "W-what's wrong with you? Did something happen while yall was away?"

I shook my head looking at her.

"We gotta talk"

She took off her robe showing off her naked frame and her flat stomach? 

"You got sum you wanna tell me?" I said looking at her stomach more than anything.

She quickly tried to grab her robe but I stopped her.

"Heartless I'm so---"

I chuckled lightly stopping her.

"You did all that just for me to be with you again huh?"

She wiped the tears that started coming down her face.

"Please don't be mad, your right you did wrap up, you did I thought when I showed you my sister's old scans you would want me again but I---"

"---Shh"

She tried to grab me.

"Let me go bruh on everything I love I will kiss your fucking ass"

She quickly let go watching me step back. I just let out a low chuckle.

"I'm happy..." I said slowly.

She looked at me as if I had 3 heads.

"Happy?" She asked in disbelief.

"Hell yeah, loosing a baby that would have 100% been mine made me open my eyes bruh, I'm happy your ass ain't pregnant, because now I get to live happily with my lady"

Anger quickly took over.

"So you came here just to let me know you getting back with that bitch?"

"You really calling her a bitch right now after you fuckin lied to me?"

She looked taken back.

"Alexis I---"

"---Don't call me that shit" I spat. "Look, whatever we had going on is dead, enjoy ya fuckin life and leave me and mines alone" I said before picking up my car keys and heading out.

"You handled that shit?" Rick asked once I pulled up.

They were all on the fron't porch chilling including Tasha and Lei. I nodded my head just looking at her.

"Can we talk?"

She let out a low chuckle.

"Honestly Heartless there's nothing left to talk about nothing you say will take this pain away" She said shaking her head.

"I broke things off with that bitch, she was never pregnant"

"What?" All the guys said shocked.

I nodded.

"I went round there about to tell her wussup and she shows me her flat ass stomach talking about she only said she was pregnant to keep me around, shit the whole thing threw me off but I'm happy because now nothing is coming between me and mines again"

She smiled slightly.

"I---"

Before she could say anything a blacked out van whizzed down the road and stopped where we was at.

"Surprise mother fuckers"

My eyes widened I quickly pulled Lei and Tasha down as the guys started shooting. I used my body as a shield and the last thing I remember hearing was Rick yelling.

"Fuck man, G get up get up man, Keem and Chris get up"

I slowly got up noticing I wasn't shot. The girls got up running over to were the guys were.

"Fuck man" I mumbled.

Chris had a bullet right at his heart and Keem had one in his head.

"Omg" Leianne mumbled.

"Its war they want? Its war they finna get" I said looking at nothing in particular.
