I spent the night laying awake in bed because I had too much on my mind. Plus, Hope was making me overheat. After three hours of laying next to a sleeping Tom, I decided to just go for a little walk. I grabbed my shoes and a light jacket before I headed out. As soon as I opened the door, Hope came running to me with her leash in her mouth. Guess she's tagging along.

I check my phone. 1:45. I wonder if there is a curfew in this neighborhood. I made sure to stuff a few treats in my pocket so I could train Hope to shake. I was never allowed to stay out past eleven o'clock because my mom was always worried about "bad" people. I'm beginning to think that she just didn't want the FBI finding me and telling me the truth.

After spending thirty minutes sitting on the park bench, I decided to head home. It took about twenty minutes to get home. When I walked through the door, Tom was sitting on the couch. I checked the time and it was a little past four in the morning.

"Sprint! You had me totally freaked out! I had no idea where you went! Next time, please leave me a note!" he exclaimed with worry.

"I'm sorry, L. I just couldn't sleep so I went for a walk, but before I got through the door, Hope was walking behind me with his leash in his mouth." He stood up and walked over to me, enveloping me in his arms.

"It's okay. I just worry."

We spend the next few hours in the back yard playing with Hope. As lunch time rolled around, I ordered pizza, then walked into the living room to find something to watch. I decide to rewatch The Walking Dead because I'm still waiting for the seventh season to come on Netflix.

"Do you think there will ever be a zombie apocalypse?" Tom asked me after answering the door and paying for the pizza. He grabs a plate and puts two pieces of cheese pizza on it and hands it to me.

"Thanks," I say after grabbing the plate from his hands. "I mean we already have flesh eating crazies in Syria. Who's to say it won't get out of hand? Even if they had all the strongest equipment holding those things in, they could still get out. Plus, if zombies are as strong as they are in the movies, they could break out and infest Syria. If they did get out, I'd be scared, no doubt about it. Plus, Just because Rick made it back to his wife and child, doesn't mean we will find our way back to each other if we got separated. So, if I were you, I would hope that those cannibals get put down rather than sent out to destroy the United States," I responded. I put my attention back towards the TV and rewinded it so I could watch the part I missed.

After four episodes, I click the TV off and head to the grocery store. I made sure to let Tom know where I was going to he didn't freak out again. We didn't really need much, but I wanted to make homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner.

While at the grocery store, I bumped into Selena. We talked for about twenty minutes. She supposedly had family here, but I don't remember her mentioning that when I told her I was moving. I gave her my address just before I checked out.

"Feel free to stop by anytime! You can meet our new dog and play with him for a bit if you like!" I holler at her as she walks out the door.

"Will do! See ya later, Alligator!"

"In a while, Crocodile!" I responded and headed out the doors myself.
