"Mom! You just don't understand!" The young teen known as Lukas yelled and slammed the door to his room. The mother of three sighed. "Teenage years, huh?" The mother's oldest son, Tino, asked, sipping on his hot cocoa that his mother had made him for his visit. She nodded. The woman looked far too young to be a mother, let alone a mother of three. But, she had her fair share of stories of her three children from when Tino was young, when Lukas was still a baby, and stories of her youngest son from recent years since the youngest was only five years old.
"I just don't understand how you and him get so emotional. I still don't understand your 'punk' or 'goth' phase either." Tino shrugged softly. "I was the master of cringe back then." Tino said and chuckled softly. He looked down at his soft, ugly, should be burnt in a fire, Christmas sweater. He didn't know why, but he adored them so much. Annabel looked over at her eldest. "Will you be coming to the family reunion?" She asked, excited for the family to see how much Tino has grown since the last; she also wanted the family to finally meet Lukas and Emil.
Tino shrugged. "That's like, what? Five months away? Maybe if I request a week off." He said. The mother nodded gently before she got up. "You need to come, I hear that we all are going to an amusement park this time before going off to the beach house." Tino chuckled and smiled. "I'll see what I can do." He said. He stood and walked over to the sink, rinsing out his empty cup.
"I'll see you later, mama." Tino said, kissing his mother's cheek softly. "Bye, Tino." She said and hugged her son before he left to tend to his own place of living. Tino drove back to his apartment, being greeted by his four month old puppy; who was pretty much a cloud with legs. "Hi, Hana." He said and smiled at her, picking her up as she squirmed and tried to lick his face with all her effort. Tino smiled and let the puppy lick his face after he sat down on his couch.
Hana calmed down after awhile of her owner being there with her. Tino pet her softly and sighed lightly. He looked out the window, wondering about his soulmate and their counterpart. He had thought of them since he was little. With a small hand movement, he pulled his necklace out from under his shirt. It was as cold as ice. He sighed. He knew that when he meets the two people in his life that could make or break his life; his stone would burn hot.
Tino sighed softly. "Come on, Hana. Let's go and get dinner on its way before bed." Tino picked up Hana and picked up his phone. "What should we get today?" He questioned, looking over the menu of the take out Chinese restaurant just down the street as the menu hung on the fridge. Tino took awhile to decide his meal and call it in, then fed Hana as he waited for his food.
He hummed gently as he waited. The doorbell rung and he answered to see his friend, Matthias; who is several years younger than him, at his door with the Chinese uniform from the restaurant. The male is Danish with blue eyes, and blonde hair that loved to defy gravity; he is well build, and madly in love with Lukas. "Hej," Matthias said with a big smile on his face, "It'll be ten forty two." Matthias said. Tino handed him a twenty. "Keep the change." Tino said as he got a nod from Matthias, and the exchange of the plastic bag containing the items Tino had ordered. "So, is Lukas still trying to decide?" Matthias said, looking at the older male with pleading eyes. "Ja. He doesn't know if he should go with you or the other one."
Matthias nodded. "I'll just have to take him out more! That will surely work!" Tino chuckled a bit. "I don't know, I think Lukas will be grounded for awhile." Tino said, receiving a look of shock from the Danish teen. "What? Lukas is always so well behaved! What happened?" Matthias questioned. "He was getting upset with mom and yelled at her that she didn't understand him. Then slammed his bedroom door."
Matthias nodded, taking his phone out to message his beloved Lukas. "I should get back to work." Matthias said, starting to walk off with his phone glued to his face. Tino waved goodbye to him. Matthias didn't notice, but it didn't stop Tino from shutting the door and going to enjoy his food he just received. Hana was begging the whole time Tino ate.
