Chapter 6

"Well, at least your single..." Rose said, breaking the painful silence in the car.

I let out a small giggle until we started to hear a loud pounding on my window. I quickly turned around to see Andrew standing by the car, drenched in rain and looking extremely pale and confused.

"Open it up!" He said, the wind, rain, and thick glass all muffling his voice at once.

I rolled down the window and gave him a stern look, Rose close behind me shaking her head slightly and mumbling non-sensible words. He shivered and motioned his left hand to the backseat, noting that he wanted to come inside. I shook my head and kept an intent and sharp stare on him until he started to talk. He clenched his jaw and opened his mouth to speak.

"W-why'd yo-you break u-up with me? Wh-what did I d-do that made our rela-relationship end up to not work out, wh-what happened to the sp-spark?" He said, wrapping his arms around himself and shaking violently.

I looked back at Rose, and we burst out laughing. I looked back at Andrew, still giggling, and saw that he looked genuinely confused. I abruptly stopped laughing and punched Rose in the shoulder, motioning to the slightly angered Andrew standing outside in the drizzling rain. I looked at him, once again serious, and started to talk.

"Do you truly not know why?" I asked him, wondering if really didn't know.

He shook his head and motioned for me to keep talking, still shivering and gripping the sides of his arms.

"You were a total jerk!" I shouted, getting angrier with every word I yelled. "You always ignored me, you were never there for me--if anything you were completely against me--, never cared, and you never gave me freedom either! You treated me like I was your doll, one time you even did my makeup for me because you said I looked terrible without it! I can't believe I was so idiotic to not have left you before! That's why I'm leaving now, do you need anymore reasons--wisdom--common sense?!" I looked at him, half curious of what he would say and half angered.

"Y-yes. Those are the st-stupidest reasons, I need some-something real and not something a g-girl would normally freak ou-out about as if she we-were on her p-period." He stated, not looking away from my eyes.

"Are you serious?! You can't talk to her like that! She gave you plenty of reasons wh--" Rose started to get aggressive, and was about to give him a lecture when I stopped her.

My face hardened as I flashed back and gave him straightforward reasons why I'm leaving.

-----------------------------------

My face twisted in disgust as I looked at what was on my plate. Plopped on it was a Hot dog covered with spaghetti, drenched with ranch and mustard. I glanced back at Andrew to see him glaring at me.

"You need to eat it. It'll put some meat on your bones, you weigh practically nothing. I don't like that..."

"Andrew, I'm ready for dinner!" I yelled, jogging down the stairs.

I got to the bottom of the stairs and walked into the kitchen where Andrew was waiting. He looked me over, squinting his eyes and walking towards me.

"You like my outfit?" I asked.

"Yeah--go change it." He stated, walking back to his chair and sitting back down...

"Andrew, can I please order my own food this time?" I asked, uncomfortably squirming in the restaurants leather chair.

He clenched his jaw and his face hardened. He worriedly looked around to see a few people glance our way, and he gripped the table cloth.

"Let's go. I think you've finished by now sweetie." He said, quickly grabbing my hand and rushing me outside the restaurant. "What the hell was that?! I told you not to embarrass me in public, or yourself for that matter. And I thought...actually I know we agreed, I order what I want you to eat or you eat what I can afford..."

"Andrew, I-" I tried brushing his hand away from my face. "S-stop!" I blew the power from my mouth in which he poofed there.

"No. You don't look very attractive without makeup. And you do a terrible job of putting it on when you try." He kept powdering my nose.

"Like you can do any better."

"I do better than you"

I scoffed and continued to let him powder and apply my makeup...

-------------------------------------

He stood still for a moment, thinking. "Yeah, like those are any good reasons why this should end. Just get out of the car and get back into your room." Andrew said, trying to open the locked car door.

"The 'this' that should be ending was nothing special in the first place. And, no. I'm never going back, the past is in the past. You should get over it too, you only used me anyway. Just go get yourself another doll and hope she doesn't see the light that I did." I gestured for Rose to start driving while she put the keys in the ignition.

"Hails, wait. I-"

"Stop. Don't call me Hails anymore. Don't even call me at all. Goodbye , Andrew. And you know what? ...You suck." And we left to who knows where...
