I woke up and sat there reaching for my hearing aids, I am supposed to sleep with them in, but I found it to uncomfortable. I grabbed my phone and got ready to leave the house. On a Sunday morning would usually head to the bookshop and then go to the café next door. I grabbed my headphones and keys and headed out the door. Not long after I got to the bus stop I hoped on a bus to get to the city I played my headphones over my ears and let the music flow into my ears.
At the bookstore, I found a book quickly and purchased it, heading next door. I saw a motor bike parked out the front and took my usual seat. A waiter came up to me.
"hello, how may I help you? "the waiter said with a confident voice. I looked up and saw a perfectly tanned boy probably around my age with mesmerising green eyes and light brown hair.
I twiddled my fingers "umm.... A chai tea please and oats with fruit and yogurt" I said politely, the waiter disappeared and reappeared with a hot chai.
"here you are, milady" the boy said smiling at me and heading to go get the food, I watched him as he went back to the kitchen, he seemed to be built but not too built.
"Lucien! Go on break!" a person yelled and I ducked my head as the boy entered the room with a bowl and saw me and came towards my table.
"I'm meant to be on break, but I brought you this" the boy said, looking at me. His eyes roamed my face and his smile when into a thin line. "you're deaf" he stated
"yes, I am "I said not looking at him
"what school do you go to?" he said taking out an apple from his bag
"North Crestview College" I said taking a spoonful of my breakfast
"I go there as well" he said smiling, "the names Lucien"
My eyes widened, Lucien Black is the famous bad boy of Crestview. Despite his bad boy way I heard he doesn't hit on the girls at school, but does occasionally date.
"you are?" he asked
"Aria" I said
"nice to meet you, milady Aria" he said and got up to go to the kitchen

I reached into my handbag for my phone and pulled out my Iphone 6S and saw messages from Ellie.
-Hey, you up for Coffee? (Ellie)
-Hey, Already at coffee shop beside the bookstore(Aria)
-Be there in 5
True to her word, roughly 5 or 6 minutes after Ellie came in and took a seat beside me. I was half hoping Lucien would serve her but it was a girl.
"hi, what do you want?" she asked rudely
"hello, a risotto with a cappuccino please, also can I have a chicken Cesar salad with water" Ellie said smiling, she looked around and then said, "what crawled up her ass and died"
"sorry about that" said a male's voice about 15 minutes later "she is new and is getting used to being polite" the voice said apologetically. I looked up to see it was Lucien and smiled at him and he placed the Risotto in front of Ellie with the cappuccino. He then placed the salad and water in front of me.
I unrolled my cutlery from a serviette and saw a number written in a sharpie pen on it and watched Lucien walk to the kitchen.
"ooh, is that his number, he is pretty cute...reminds me of someone from school" she said thinking
"he is from our school. He is Lucien Black" I said biting my lip
"wow, hold up. You have Lucien Blacks number?!" she said excitedly to me
After we finished we paid for our food and headed to the park, we ran down the hill and saw the boys at the skate park again. We stopped and turned heading to grassy spot we sit at. I plucked a few daisies, linking them together. We saw a person arrive and my breath got caught in my throat when I heard the voice from the newcomer.
"sorry, had work" the voice said
"all good man. Meet any cute chicks?" another male voice said
"yea, she is cute, her name is Aria" said the voice
oOoOoOoO
"Aria?" Ellie said shaking me as I watched the boys talk as I threaded a crown of daisies.
I got up and noticed the group of boys approaching us, they stood on the other side of the fence and smirked at Ellie and I.
"Hey ladies" a boy with honey coloured hair and blue eyes said winking at us. Behind them was a familiar face
"Aria?" said Lucien confused and smiling happily, at this point Lucien was climbing the fence and so were the others.
"everyone this is Aria." Lucien said introducing me, I looked over to Ellie and saw her blushing and looking at one of the boys in the group.
"hi" I said weakly and putting the daisy crown on Lucien's brown hair. He looked at me, shocked and then smiled and posed, I took out my mobile and took a photo of his and popped it away.
"Can you believe its 3 pm" Ellie said
We said our goodbyes and made our ways home and that night I fell asleep quickly.
