Over the next few weeks, her wishes slowly came true.
Vanessa slowly learned more and more about Dante. He loved r&b, he had a love-hate relationship with the outdoors due to a traumatic bee experience at five years old, he has mixed feelings about his family, he writes poetry, and most importantly he doesn't really like his home life.
The last one was most important to her because most times she felt alone in that.
Sure she had all the friends she needed, but each of them had nice parents and a nice house. Vanessa had a lovely home, but only because her parents sold enough drugs to make a fortune.
The more she learned about him, the more she began to realize that the mystery boy wasn't so far from herself.
