  "I think i'm finally getting the hang of it." He said sounding proud of himself. 

"Maybe, but you are also tightly hanging on to me," She said, struggling to keep her balance under his weight. 

"It's not my fault you decided to take me on a date skating when I can't skate." Vanessa rolled her eyes for the millionth time, to accompany his millionth excuse.

 "Here, lemme help you," She took his hand in hers as she skated next to him.

 "Push off of your left foot, now pick it up alternating every time." He followed her instructions and began to actually get the hang of it. 

They then began skating smoothly, resuming their conversation about the importance of tacos when all of a sudden an all too familiar weight was on her back as he fell, taking her down with him. She couldn't help but laugh at his failure.

 "Again, I blame you for this," All she could do was laugh.  

A/N 

I honestly don't even know how I came up with the idea of the taco conversation and it's funny to look back on now but anyway, there's only like two more chapters left ;)
