Well, that's a good question.
In order to receive a critique or review, you must:
1. Post your work on Wattpad (seems like a duh, but you'd be surprised).
2. Submit your request to this account, via PM, for science fiction novels only.
3. Follow the request form:
Title of Work
Sub-genre
Author Name
Review or Critique? (Pick one)
(for reviews) Which chapter?
(If it's a critique, you may ask us to critique one of the following:)
Book Cover (we may just critique it, and refer you to a cover artist. If we're not busy, we may offer a premade, or offer a full cover revamp)
Book Description and Title (you must PM a copy of both)
Whichever chapter you'd like (Must email a copy to ooorahawards@gmail.com)
4. You may only receive a critique or a review, not both. However, you may apply for one, and then the other, allowing at least a week in between the two.
5. Reviews will be posted in this book, and the requesting author will be notified after it's posted (sometimes in advance, just depends on how busy we are).
6. Critiques amount to proofreading/formatting/characterization tips. If this is not what you want, do not request a critique. No one will attack your work, just offer constructive criticism. We are here to learn from you, and to help you get better.
7. Winners of The Ooorahs! will be featured in the book later this summer.
8. Feel free to nominate the works of others to be reviewed!
