I was at the Bayou, surrounded by wolves that had been cursed the same as I. I felt free, but all I wanted was to be with my daughter. I longed for her company. I wanted Kol, I wanted my family.

Since it was the opposite of the wolf curse, I had to stay a wolf for everyday out of a month, except one day. The day I wasn't, Kol told me that he would come to see me for the few hours that I had during that time.

I was counting on him coming, I knew he would come. The full moon came out and that's when I turned to a human. I saw a shadow figure come towards me. They had a white, button down shirt in their hands.

"Skylar?" A familiar voice stated.

I made my eyes focus, I'd still been on the high wolf senses since i had just transformed into a human like an hour ago.

"Kol!" I said walking through the woods, my feet crunching on the leaves. I ran up to him hugging him so tight.

"Here." He put the white shirt around my shoulders, covering my breast, but still low buttoned.

He touched my waist, I jumped at his touch, it had been a month since I had any human interaction.

"Thank you." I said, putting my hands on his neck, standing on my toes and planting a kiss on his lips. Gif.

"I am going to get a witch to help you. I swear it." I hugged him so tightly.

"I know you will. Kol Mikaelson, I love you."

"I love you, darling. C'mon let's go inside, we need to get you warm."

I nodded at his comment and listened. He wanted to take care of me, so I let him. We walked to the porch where I opened the door and walked in the small, wooden shack.

"I'm so happy you're okay." I rested my head under his chin.

"I would've come, but Klaus and Laura are still...adjusting." His eyebrows creased, there was something he wasn't telling me.

I backed away from his body and looked at him curiously.

"Kol. What's happened?"

"Laura has been...off the rails. After losing Laelynn, she's been a wreck. She's been adjusting to the hunger also, it's been months since she was last a vampire. She doesn't know how to cope as much as she did. Klaus is on a rampage. They're shutting Elijah and I out and...we don't know how to help them." He sat down and looked helpless.

I let out a knowing sigh. Kol knew how to help them, he just didn't know what way to do it. He needed someone to say it to him, to understand the solution.
