I heard Elijah walk into the main room, yelling for Klaus. He looked overwhelmed by the amount of wolves in the room.

"You do realize that literally everyone here has supernatural hearing, right?" I said, walking to Elijah.

"Where is my brother?"

"I'll check his calendar... wait, no. Not his wife. Soooo..."

"Skylar, this city is under siege by an army of beasts following my mothers commands. Considering your people just declared war on my kind, perhaps it's not the best time for your particular brand of sass."

I looked at him shocked.

"Klaus left a while ago. If you wanna find him, I can't help you. If only there was a magical device that people used to call people. I don't know. I'm out of ideas, good luck." I walked off, leaving Elijah there to find Klaus on his own.

No doubt Laura was with Klaus, she always is.

"Oh, one more thing Elijah. Those beasts that you're referring to? They may be under Esther's control, but like you said, they are my people. So if you hurt them, your bitch mother will be the least of your problems."

•••••••••••

I listened for any noise that was being made by Elijah because I remember him saying something about training Già.

"Elijah," I said, walking down stairs. Looked like he and Gia were...in an intimate moment.

"We need to talk..." I looked at the doorway to see Aiden come from behind the wall. Già looked defensive and Elijah held her back, earlier Aiden and his wolves attacked the vampires.

"We're not here for a fight, just hear him out."

"Speak. I suggest you be succinct." Elijah said,

"Please. I need your help." He said, while Elijah looked curious whilst hesitant.

"The witch wants soldiers. So now it's either join up or pay the price."

"I've known my brother Finn to be merciless. But even this exceeds my expectations."

"They're just kids," I said,

"Marcel, you know the Quarter like the back of your hand. If anyone can get them out of here, it's you."

"And then what?"

"There are still wolves deep in the bayou. The ones that didn't take a ring, they can look after em." Ollie said,

"The ones you never sold out, you mean." Marcel said,

"If that's the way you want to put it, that's fine. We did what we had to do."
