I took a deep breath, preparing myself for this reunion that was going to end up being a mess. I walked down the hallway, to the stairs. As I walked down, you could hear the clacking of my heels on the wooden steps.

I looked up as I was walking down the stairs af I saw Kol, in Kaleb's body, obviously putting up an act for Esther. On the other side of her, I saw a dark skinned man, whom I think I've recognized before.

"And there's Skylar." Elijah held out his hand, to help me down the stairs.

"Another one?" The dark skinned man stated.

"Excuse me?" I was totally confused at what he told me. Another what?

"Another woman whom the Mikaelsons have entrapped in their realm of murder and vile actions." He said, smirking towards me.

"Don't tell me who I am, whoever you are. Let me guess, one of the pompous dicks Esther has under her control?" I was fed up with his bullshit.

"I know all about you, Skylar Ryan. Werewolf/witch recently turned hybrid." I looked defensive, he's lucky, otherwise I would have ripped his head off by now.

"Yes, a hybrid. I suggest you respect me because my appetite is very large right now." I smiled at him, showing the hybrid face that had been waiting to come out of me.

"I wouldn't do that." He made a tick, tick, tick sound with his tongue.

"Oh, I would." I slowly went towards him, but Elijah held me back, keeping keeping me from making a mistake.

He turned towards Laura while I looked at Kol. He looked pitiful, he looked disappointed, and it absolutely broke my heart. I calmed down when I looked at him. It was like a rush of humanity hit me at the sight of him.

I listened to what the dark man was saying to Laura, she obviously wanting to tear him to pieces.

"You three haven't changed a bit. Linens and silk can't disguise your pathetic self-loathing. And you. . .despite the arrogant facade, you're still the same paranoid little boy, with the same girlfriend who can't stand her brothers because they love the girls they get more then their own sister. Both full of hate. . .and fear." Laura looked at him weird.
